Here's a cast and painted head, I put it on a Jakks figure. It looks like I need to add a bit more hair to the sides.

Yeah I think this may need some tweaking on the nostrils and size of head or is it just hair...

Not bad but the color of the eyes is brown normally and lips it is not too much that the resemblance is not excellent. It would again be necessary to improve him(it)

His eye’s are brown, I painted them dark brown with a little golden tan highlight.

Well, I like it and that’s good enough for me, and beside adding some hair to the sides I’m not changing anything else.

hey guys Z agrees to do the headsculpt if we can get 9 deposits of 10 dollars. basically if nine guys are commited he'll give the hs a shot. I'm going to create another thread and whoever is interested please drop by and leave your a statement.

I'm not sure what you mean GatackFC are you saying the nose and nostrils are too big or what? I did a comparison shot with the reference I used and the only thing I can see in the top picture it the nostril actually isn’t big enough. I just wanted to clear up what you are saying.

I have to admit I thought the painted sculpt looked off too, but those unpainted shots are dead-on.

I think there where two factors that caused that, one it took the picture on a macro setting and it warped the nose a bit, and the fact that it was lighter with the translucent flesh tone compounded it. It really doesn’t look that way in hand.

like the others said... the unpainted shots look great. you mind taking a better shot o f the unpainted sculpt?
