Great finale! I'm very happy Fringe has been renewed.

Besides the revelation about Peter and the appearance of Bell, I liked the newspaper with the headline about the new White House and former President Kennedy. I also liked the woman who led Olivia to Bell's office.

I'm pretty much speechless about this finale because it was that good. Give me some time to gather my thoughts and maybe I can make a coherent post. It was THAT good IMO. Absolutely brilliant!!!

My biggest question is the glimpse that we got of the "Peter" back-story. For those of you who watched, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. The implications in that scene were mind-blowing!

Just about to watch this shame it's the last one until season 2 it's been a fun ride so far hope season 2 is just as good if not better! :)

I called the Peter twist. Told my wife what I thought was up, and when we eventually got confirmation in that final Walter scene, I was gloating.

This was a great end to the season! They are finally getting deeper into the mythology of the show, and it's getting me hooked.

Nice one! :)

That was one awesome episode and it's going to make the wait for season 2 a B**** when is it going to be on anyway?

I'm so hooked can't wait for the next season :banana

I had thought earlier in the season that Peter was a clone, but this is much cooler.

And it seems like they're setting up Nimoy to be a recurring character next season?

Funny, I was looking at the newspaper for differences, but didn't see the thing about Kennedy.

Funny how all this ties into Star Trek too. But it seems the parallel universes thing isn't being used at all on LOST where it also might apply. On LOST, "what happened, happened" and there are no offshoots of other realities (yet).

It's the top story on the left. "Former Pres. Kennedy to address UN." It was a lot easier to see in HD.

Here's an interview with Nimoy.

Yes the "Real" one died. Walter then goes to the other dimension to get that which he lost "Peter" so the peter in the show is from the other dimension

Yep that's why he didn't remember the coin that Walter was talking about.

Awesome show can't wait for it to come back bad week really Fringe Lost Supernatural all finished :(

I know this may sound like a far-fetched theory (and may quite possibly be wrong) but does anyone remember the story of how the Observer saved Peter and Walter from the frozen lake, after the car accident? I understand many of you have made mention that the "other" Peter was used in place of the "real" Peter. I agreed 90% that is the case. But I think more importantly than that point is WHO AND HOW was this replacement found....

Here's where it gets interesting in my head: I feel either 1.) The Observer gifted Walter with the technology to "grab" the Peter of the other dimension or 2.) The Observer went and grabbed the "other" Peter himself. All of this would of course be in exchange for Walter's help and what kind of help has yet to be defined. We all know that there is a close bond between the Observer and Walter. Something tells me that the Observer has a BIG role in getting this "other" Peter to the here and now. I don't think the Observer has "healing" powers like it was implied when he "saved" Peter from the accident (because I don't think that Peter survived), but I do think he has the ability to jump to alternate dimensions (or at least knows how to.)

And just on a side note: PLEASE don't post spoilers to next season. If it is YOUR theory you then that is fine, but I know there are MANY websites out there that have already leaked spoilers. So if you have looked and read those spoilers, please (at the very least) place your finding in Spoiler Tags.

I'm not meaning to come off rude, but this is honestly the only show that I care to follow on TV right now, and I don't want others to spoil that surprise for me. But I do like coming to this thread to share feelings with other fans of this show! :rock

Agreed. Theories are fine - facts are not.

Thanks Dave. I know I'm not a moderator, so it's not my place to dictate what can and cannot be said (which I hope it didn't come off that way.) That's why I was trying to clarify myself as much as possible. I really like expressing my theories towards what I think will happen, and I also like reading what other people think as well. But when spoilers are told (with or without me aware of it), it really puts a damper on things. I'm not saying that any spoilers have been posted, but I think most of us will agree with where I'm coming from.

This is the only place I really go to vent about this show, so this thread must remain "spoiler-free" at all costs! :lol :peace
