thank, how's your batman coming along?

I actually just coated all of the gold areas in order to bronze them with gold paint then dry brush black over the gold. Haven't gotten around to the cape yet. Soon though!

Vader and ironman -- awesome work!

Edit: here are some pics with the utility belt repainted in metallic gold, as well as the knuckles, gauntlet blades, and boots. Also, I removed the facial hair. Going to do it over, as I wasn't completely satisfied with how it looked:

Great work everyone! I'm fairly new to customizing and was wondering, I am going to do the kiwi shoe polish method, but don't want the suit to be as shiny as it seems. I have seen people recommend a matte varnish? Does anyone have any advice when using these products together? Would liquitex matte varnish be suitable? Thank you all

I got that wood base from Hobby craft shop and paint it myself.
Bat logo from metal keychain.

Nice work Ironmann. Is this the 20" version? I didn't think the figure came with any accessories.

Not sure if you guys have a store called ALDI, it like a grocery store/discount store, but this week they have the 20" figures for $15.
