I've seen the first cap pf @ sdcc so I've seen it. Never said it wasn't a classic. As far as our opinions you have the right to yours. I wad just simply saying that it's hard to just go out and say this won't be a classic. If you feel that way then that's cool. I tend to be open minded about pieces when we first see them.

I understand, but you really didn't say that in the first place but rather "I don't think you CAN say", , which I can.

I don't either. Never said anything that I did. I think both versions are cool and if I could have both I'd make a run at it.

I also think this piece looks cool, improvable, but cool nonetheless.

I agree it's subjective. Never said otherwise nor said the first wasn't. As far talking about it. Dont bring it up then.

Pretty much how I feel. If you love the first one thats awesome. It's a really cool piece. This I feel the same on and when I buy that's who I buy for.

Looks like a good piece! I'm glad the EX includes a switch out head and no just a print!

So far (and based obviously on the pictures alone) the only thing that I believe could be improved is the facial expression and skin texture. But it's still an awesome looking PF. A switch-out WW II era handgun would have been nice but I know that's asking for a lot.

It's like a museum pose face, with an action body.

I must say I usually buy first ask questions later, but I'm not even going to bother with this one.

agreed. Im very happy with the piece and even more happy that they included the art print as well. The pose is a bit stationary and not as dynamic as the art print, but the switch out head really modernizes the look of the new Cap. I do like the original Cap PF although Im not going to pay scalper prices since I started late, this is good enuff.

This is an awesome PF. I felt the original Cap PF should have been in this pose in the first place, it's nice to see this version in the iconic pose nevertheless. Only thing I would have like to see, aside from a more intense expression, is that the shield turn a little towards the center so you can see the full shield from front view along with his face. Right now you can either see cap's face or the front of the shield, but not both at the same angle. But still a very awesome piece!

This is a must-have for me. If they keep making New Avengers I might have to get Ms Marvel at some point as well.

There's already a good size of New Avengers PF, which is what I'm personally collecting. There's Steve Rogers Cap, Iron Man, Wolverine, Spidey, Thing, Ms Marvel, and now Bucky Cap. I'm pretty sure we'll see all of them made some where down the road. The only one in danger of never being made is probably modern Luke Cage. (finger cross)

This could be similar to the Gambit PF, in that the change-o-head comes with the normal version as well. The print could be the only exclusive item.. we'll find out in a couple of days..

Statue looks good but what's up with the base? Where/What is that thing his standing on? Looks like he's on the top of a building. If so, why is he posed that way, looking up? Shield up for what? Airplanes? Action posed at the edge of a building? One big hit or one more step and it's a free fall.

I can name many occasions where the New Avengers are spying on the rooftop making plans before they engage. I do find it a little bit cheesy how many times this had happened, but as far as this statue goes the rooftop base actually stays true to the comics. The pose is the classic "Avengers Assemble!" pose he makes right before they literally jump down from the roof to fight the bad guys, so actually ya that's pretty much exactly it... Only thing that could have really been improved here is his mouth should be open with an intense expression to look like he's actually yelling those words.

I am just not feeling this PF. Maybe it's because I own the best representation of Cap. I would rather have a Snipes Blade or DD PF. DD, more-so in comiquette in 1/4 scale form.

I like the design of the piece a bit more than the original. I don't own the original but am not in the withdraw phase. I think this piece is equally as cool looking and as I said I actually like this outfit a bit better.

The head seems a bit out of scale and what is he looking at? The head is too cartoonish for the body which seems realistic. It doesn't match up. I prefer the old outfit that we all know about.
