Given I hated all of the options they had on the table im happy about it but I do agree he better not phone it in this time.

One can only hope that the director or script inspires him -- because its pretty likely he's doing another for the money (as he said he would).
"Skyfall" and "Spectre" screenwriter John Logan is also said to be involved in the upcoming project -- which is unfortunate.
I doubt Nolan is serious -- and the powers that are Danjaq/EON are too hands on for Nolan's tastes. Besides, Nolan would simply make Bond even more pedestrian, although it would likely have a good plot and a great villain. I'm torn on Nolan. Seems the Bond folk are already stealing from him too much as it is.
I'd like to see a true action director take a turn with Bond, particularly with Craig. He's best when moving.

I agree with this man, I hope they don't try to do "this time it's personal" and make the villan his brother or something related to his past. That is what I didnt like about Spectre. I don't know where else they can go with the Craig series, hopefully they abandon the Blofeld storyline though.

Yeah -- I like Blofeld as a concept, but I didn't like the casting choice in Spectre, nor his story.
They also need to get Anthony Hopkins in there to play a Bond villain. He's perfect for it.

I don't know. I always thought Sean Connery would make a great Bond villain... but then it would also be weird. There's no way to un-recognize him, and it would become distracting. I think the same with any Bond actor.

If they follow up the Blofeld story line, I wouldn't be surprised if Craig and Sedoux open the film with them still driving. And she gets murdered ala OHMSS's ending, same scenario and everything with a parked car by the side of the road.
... Or she ends up turning into a fembot ala The Spy Who Snagged Me.
Either or.
Personally I'd rather Craig than anyone else right now.

As much as i love Craig's take on bond he's now too old and should move on. The franchise needs a fresh start with a Nolan/Fassbender trilogy...

Bond has re-used a lot more people over and over than those two examples... but that's far different than re-using Bond himself in a different role.

Yeah I think I have to agree. As awesome as he was, his Bond has just become too predictable by this point, and doesn't seem to have that same fire and edge that made him so cool early on.

Oh, I hope the next one is not where Bond is married and Blofeld kill his wife, the end of Specter was like they left hanging this "idea"..Blofeld left with scar, alive and defeted by the man he hate most...the line said by "Q" to Bond when he see it at the end of the movie..."I believe you where gone" and Bond leaving with the girl in the Aston Martin DB5...mmmm...and the insistence of the producers that Craig make TWO more Bond movies before he move on...make you wonder what type of James Bond we will get...Craig is not the same "young man" of Casino Royale but he is not Roger Moore in A View To A Kill in age when he did it.
I like all of Craig Bonds movies, even as two of them seem more like a Jason Borne movie...than a James Bond one, but I am glad they slowly returned to the original...somewhat...cast of regulars, Q, Moneypenny...and..."M"...in the classic style, they even did his leather covered double door and semi-classic decor of his office. Or maybe will get a reboot story of some sort...I hope not!!
For a villian, they should consider Ian Mcshane, the guy can do a great job...he can do good guys and also VERY good bad guys!!
