Does Sideshow still even have the licence any more? If so, maybe we can get an Indy-style figure of Craig. If not, then maybe Hot Toys could get the licence.

That's a good question. You would think when Casino Royale was announced, and Craig named as Bond that Sideshow would be running to get a Daniel Craig James Bond made. But...they didn't. Anyone else know? I haven't heard anything about Sideshow or Hot Toys now having the Bond license. I know Gorgi is making die-cast vehicles, and small die-cast figures, but not 1:6 scale figures.

The James Bond section is still at Sideshow's website, so it shows that they still have the license. Although their last major figure release for Bond was the Legacy Collection in 2006.. Its been 2 years since then.. Nothing new from them and no news about a Craig figure.. Their Bond license is sure going to waste. Thank you Loading Toys for at least making an effort in doing a nice Daniel Craig sculpt (though its unofficial).. Would be awesome if Hot Toys have the license to do Bond, though I doubt it..

You know whats pissing me off? Ads for the Bond figures...I get all excited thinking they made reissues of the past ones...and they're all sold out. Bull poop.

The James Bond section is still at Sideshow's website, so it shows that they still have the license. Although their last major figure release for Bond was the Legacy Collection in 2006.. Really. Why would Sideshow go to the trouble of paying for the license, and then let it sit there? They SHOULD have jumped on an official Daniel Craig Bond before Casino Royale came out. Maybe they'll make at least one from his two movies? I really hope so.

If they ever do a Craig, I would rather they do him either in his suit from the CR PTS, the three piece suit, with machine gun from the end of CR, or in the black jacket he wears during the climax of QoS, rather than just the plain tuxedo.

Sideshow really missed their moment. Casino Royale led to an increase in interest for the series again. It's sad that they didn't jump on that.

We think they tried but Craig himself did nt like the sculpt.It was big news for a while,but nothing since.I do nt blame him actually.

Yeah, the tumbleweeds and dust are building up there for sure! Maybe they are trying to finish up with other licenses, or find a gap where they can do a Daniel Craig James Bond.

I want to do like others here, and just make my own with a great custom head sculpt. CelticP where is that head you're paying $60.00 for? Do they have more? Please post a link here if you can/will. Thanks!

Wow... All quiet on the Bond front.

Here's my most recent way to display my Bond collection. I decided to put Connery's Bond against all of the villains in a high stakes Texas Hold 'Em game. I gave Connery the same cards that Bond had in Casino Royale (7 and 5 of Spades). As wel as giving the villains (who stayed in) the same cards that the others had.

I put lots of fun little things (like coveted objects of value) and if you look carefully you'll see Scaramanga's got a nice collection of gold items in front of him (lighter and such).







Just your ordinary Saturday night game with the fellows.
