Re: I saw AVATAR in 3D!

Just got back from seeing this in IMAX 3D....I gatta say it sucked!
...naaa im kidding...this movie was awesome!! The 3D was very cool...took a few minutes for my eyes to adjust though. I cant believe how real some of the navi looked in a few scenes.

and I really want one of those dragon bird things...it would make getting to work in the morning so much faster.

:lol :lol :lol

I'm hoping SS do one with jake riding it that would be awesome wouldn't it?

I just love the last picture of Cameron with the Oscars! It makes me lolz.:lol

That is awesome :lol

This is a movie that I seem to like even more as I think about it... I'm gonna try and get some friends together so I can see it a 2nd time. The wife won't go (doesn't believe in re-watching movies) so I gots to get a posse together.

just go on your own dude, i am going alone tonight ha ha i dont mind, you dont talk once your in watching the film anyways

TOTAL LIFETIME GROSSES
Domestic: $73,000,000 31.4%
+ Foreign: $159,180,000 68.6%
= Worldwide: $232,180,000

Titanic made $28 mil its opening weekend. You dont try to set weekend records in december. But its doing pretty darn well considering is has yet to open in Japan or China and there has been major snowstorms in the U.S. and so many showings were sold out that people were turned away. I see this film having healthy box office numbers for a while.

Looks like the Avatar fans spoke with their wallets this weekend, big WIN for them, massive FAIL for the haters. :lol

I must admit, my interest for this wasn't that high, but after seeing a behind the scenes featurette on HBO I was very impressed. I'll be seeing it this weekend.

3D is a must! I am so sad the IMAX in my area isn't showing it. I sent them an email this morning.

Re: I saw AVATAR in 3D!

that piece would be HUGE.

Mattel makes an action figure version that holds 4.5"-6" figures and the wing span is 20" +a 1/6 or 1/4 scale would be STUPID LARGE...that's the AVATAR collectible I'm waiting for

all the haters have gone extremely quite on these avatar threads i have noticed!

Funny how that works. There were throngs telling me for months on this board how I was silly for being so psyched for a movie I hadn't seen. My response was that I had seen enough and knew enough to know it wasn't just another run of the mill film.

How does the crow taste?

Then everyone comes out of the wood works and does a complete 180. ;-)
