Stewart isn't a comedian and the whole thing was just awkward. But if Corden was the host of the show, he should have done something more to move it along smoothly rather than get in Patrick's face.

Gavin & Stacey plays on BBCAmerica, so I have seen a couple of episodes. Never felt the need to see more than a couple of episodes though.

Guess it depends on culture and sense of humour.

Gavin and stacey is a slow burner that gets better as it goes.

Anyway corden is a fool and this will not do him any favours, patrick stewart is an icon, corden is just the flavour of the month and people will turn on him for this.

Make it so.

Yes Patrick Stewart embarrassed himself, but he had a few drinks.
Corden came across over aggressive and did not handle the situation at all. He is supposed to be the comedian, but all he could revert to was to tell Sir Patrick Stewart to get the ____ on with it, rather than have some witty comeback (Which I think he is incapable of)

As much of an absolute LEGEND Patrick Stewart is, he did come over quite poorly.

That being said, I loathe James Corden too, so fair play for trying to take him down a peg.

Never heard of this guy or his shows, but he might want to show a little more respect to an icon that's been in the business longer than he's been alive.

~~I agree with Patrick. Whether or not it was intentional, but standing on the back of the stage with your hands in your pockets kind of puts off the idea that you could care less about what's going on and would rather be somewhere else...in his case a buffet.
