Swung by the apartment at lunchtime and found Jason hiding under the doormat. Unfortunately, I didn't grab my camera so I can't provide any "machete'd his way out of the box" photos at the moment.

I will say that he is plenty tall, nicely done, a bit loose in the leg joints department, and while he isn't better than Sideshow's FvsJ or F13 Part 7, he's definitely one of the more unique-looking Jasons on my shelf. Which is full. Again. Crap.

I would gladly photograph for Sideshow! Heck, I'm bringing my tripod to SDCC to get some nice pics. Maybe they will let me shoot while the products have some good lighting for the web cam?

Jason does look great. Mine should be here tommorrow. I'll try to take some pics of him. Maybe I'll get the four "Zombies" together for a mob pic.

Yeah Shai! That Space Machete is sick!! I will definetly be posing him with that in hand. I can't imagine getting the regular and being stiffed out of one of the most original accessories for a Jason yet. Besides that awesome tree trimmer... which I sadly missed.

He came! I try and post some pics tonight. I haven't opened him yet either, but the space machete does look nice. Once again, he does indeed have the new mask.

The good:
New Mask
Great new face
great exclusive
Big Boy Body and Big boots
I really like the Chain accessory as well

The Bad:
His hands are molded together. He can hold things, but his right hand is too tightly close to hold the space machete. He can hold it in the left just fine and the regular machete in the right. This also is a pain to thread the chain through. Think Thomas Hewitt Leatherface, except this time the closure was on purpose.

His mask also has thin leather straps. Even thinner than pt. 7. They are also just too big so the mask isn't fit on tightly. It can move a around a bit, but it will stay on his face.

Besides those few issues, he is a very good figure.

That really sucks about the hands....you would think SS would mold the hands to fit perfectly with any weapons that are packed with the figure...

I mean the hand is JUST too small. You can squeeze it in if you want, but it could possibly damaged the paint on the hand or the space machete. The space machete might also brake. Pics coming soon...
