@joost
To continue further in this discussion, may I ask you if 1/12 Batman vehicles like 89 batwing or Batmobile are still considered or it’s definitely out of the table due to a too limited audience?

I'm not sure the audience would be so limited...
There is no offer for Jazzinc quality and accuracy vehicules ..
All we have is Mcfarlane, and they are just better than nothing..

I will buy one Jazzinc 1/12 89 Batwing and 89 Batmobile day one!
And one 95 Batmobile too!

So far on the 1/12 projects we have done the sales were ridiculously low. We are still shipping the last of the 1/12 bvs batmobiles after 5 years and we only made a few hundred!!

everyone says it should sell well, but unless its mcfarlane prices, it doesn't. And then you get mcfarlane quality and detail

I dont know if there's a market for our accuracy, detail and quality in 1/12 scale but we will try it one last time with the 1/12 batwing kickstarter

Speaking of the ULTIMATE catch 22! We put it up to a vote and will try the 1/12 scale batwing for kickstarter as we need a LOT of orders to make it viable in the 1/12 space where price points should not be much higher than $300. We are working on a design and prototype and will have something to show in April
Yes!
That's very great news!
i will be there day one!
We will have to spread the word all around!

I would gladly pay more than Mcfarlane prices for better accuracy and quality...

And i'am sure that the 89 Batwing (and 89 Batmobile ) will have a better response as the BVS Batmobile!
There were a lot of people (me included) that didn't have the space or the budget for a vehicle as huge, and would jump and the 1/12...
I guess we'll see!
I really hope it will work!

me too, many talk the talk but apparently not many walk the walk. We will see and try one last time. Even if you take into account that bvs is not as popular sales and speed should have been WAYYYY higher. 5 years to sell a few hundred is not viable

Correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t you have to overscale your original Batwing to fit the 1/6 Batman, so it’s closer to 1/5. Are you just shrinking that one in half so the newest one should be more 1/10 in scale? Thanks!

I know it may be to soon, but if the 1/12 89 Batwing works out, would it be a possibility to have the Batman vehicle accessory figure to go with it?

Awesome news!
The Batwing has always been the only piece i would I loved to get but the 1/6 version was way too big and expensive for me.(like many collectors I guess…)
As a proud and immensely pleased owner of the 89 1/6 Batmobile, the 1/12 Batwing is a Day 1 PO for me!
😉

Are you aiming to have any of those 1/12 figures able to fit inside the batwing? The only 1989 1/12 figures I can think of is mezco's and the S.h.figuart. Mcfarlane isn't 1/12.

I was looking at the 1/10 DeLorean kickstarter. Around 2,800 backers roughly with the lowest priced tier at 300 USD if you backed early or 400 USD if you didn't. The outer body is diecast and can fit the 1/10 neca figures. That can be a gauge on how this might do but you'd definitely need to have those big toy news sites advertise or write an article about the campaign to make more collectors aware of it.

Personally I’ve bought the SH Figuart years ago for this exactly purpose.

There you have it the 1/12 Batwing is looking promising so those who said they want it, you have it so support our man Joost!

Also, you’re still shipping the 1/12 BvS Batmobile, are there any still available to buy? I may be very interested depending on the timing of payments. @JazzInc

I do own the 66, 89 and 2022 Batmobiles.. I past on the bat cycle even though I think to would look great in my collection. Bottom line was economics. Personally I'd rather spend on the diecast tumbler or other batmobile. Jazzinc gave us what so many have wanted for so long and I am very grateful. Love my cars I just need a place to display the them

Hot Toys included both a Batman and Catwoman figure with their 1/12 Bat. Buzz back then was that they would usher in a new era of 1/12 HT.
How’d that go?

I'm not sure how your question relates to mine. I wasn't asking about the status of 1/12 collectibles or HT.

Having existing 1/12 figures fit into this is an incentive for those that own such figures to consider the kickstarter if it ever proceeds. Much like Tomy doing a 1/10 DeLorean to accommodate Neca's 1/10 figures as I don't think there are any 1/12 BTTF figures. Although I would say, there is a bigger pool of collectors of 1/10 mcfarlane figures given how expansive their DC line has been.
