I'm with you 100%
Im struggling with this one.
Its a figure I've wanted for years - but honestly the value for money is killing the excitement for me, I just dont see the value/cost ratio.
Money is always tight for me anyway, but as you say, even if I could comfortably afford it I'm not sure I would pay this price anyway.
I've never been so torn on a figure.
At no point have I felt any closer to making a decision.
Honestly - my gut tells me that if the price is galling me this much, maybe I best skip it.
But as soon as I think that it breaks my heart
Its a sad truth of this hobby that, unless you are loaded or a major youtube reviewer, you can't get everything you want.
The question I suppose is, if like me your funds are limited, how much are you willing to sacrifice to get this.
And if you can afford it and feel torn on the value judgement, the question then is - will you be more annoyed about the price you paid when you look at this piece in your collection or would you be more upset by its absence - only you can know.
I've ordered things before that I spent way too much on and decided to sell onwards because that price is what I thought of when I looked at the piece, and I've paid aftermarket prices for figures I missed due to not originally wanting to pay their retail price only to change my mind.
It can go either way.
