The reason why I compare to HT artisan is because that’s how Joost markets this figure. I see where you’re coming from that it’s closer to a standard non artisan HT, but in some ways it’s not. The styling may not be as complicated but there’s still some styling involved to make it look good.
The Jack Sparrow is not a good example to use because that is very good value and not the norm for standard HT. If instead I compared with DP&W Wolverine Deluxe or Batman Returns Deluxe 2.0 - both ($275) that’d be more fair, +$100 for what HT normally charges for Artisan edition, and then you might justify an increased cost due to the complexity - custom body, wool hair, detailed suit, and you’ll arrive at a price they charged which might be fair-good value.
If someone says it’s overpriced then I’m not saying it might not be, just to me I see the value lining up with its price when comparing to HT.
