So with the sales of Catwoman going well, we are on target for adding a free extra piece. Now, we are not there yet and if Hot Toys were to announce a catwoman we might not get there at all, but we were thinking for the DXs and two-pack we would include this bust to display one of your extra headsculpts! For the Basics we could include the extra whip and newspaper that comes with the DX. What do you think?

Could that extra money from preorder numbers be spent on better quality control, like ensuring the painters don't rush and end up with a random black dot or messy paint on the face that shouldn't be there.

Stuff like the ears here are too rounded and one ear looks bent would bother me for the final piece compared to not getting any extra additions to what's been announced.

We are already talking to an American with much experience in this area to complement the team there, so that will not have to be mutually exclusive. Also for our Iron Scavenger, we had only 0,007% QC issues. Same for the 1995 and 2022

Short answer "no" same mistake is going to happen with the 89 Batmobile. Invest the money into the actual product to make sure the quality is what the price point dictates instead of adding extras. quantity doesn't trump quality.

Agreed, i wouldn't use it personally, but collectors seem to like them. With so many sculpts i guess it kinda makes sense for this release.

Yeah, I suppose it makes some sense here, but I'm not too keen on them, either.

Does the production of the bust cost as much as a neutral head sculpt? I'd prefer a neutral head sculpt instead considering both BD and Clean are missing it.

It's always great to have extra pieces, but personally, i have no use at all for a bust...it won't even leave the box once, i can assure you.
I am already not a fan of statues (that's why i buy figures ), but i really hate busts of any kind...
But i am all for extra heads instead!

I was thinking this exactly. I have the Clean DX on order and would love the inclusion of the BD Crazy sculpt even if it was changed to fit the clean mask (without the hair) to suit the clean body. But I would be happy with that sculpt as it is. I see Michelle's likeness in the crazy sculpt more than the others and it's the best of the BD sculpts.

It would be nice to have a crazy sculpt over a boring neutral expression given the choice. If Hot Toys ever do a Cat Woman they will probably do a boring neutral sculpt so I say choose expressive. The development work will be done regardless so it kinda makes sense that nothing new will need to be developed. It would make the price easier to swallow for some too. I appreciate that this doesn't work for the 2 pack. Maybe the neutral head will suffice for the 2-pack people or those who have bought both DXs seperately.

As others have said, the bust would be a wasted resource, really not my bag. I just don't see the point when you can swap heads on the figure itself and change the pose. That's the point and the fun of 1/6th.

Whatever you decide, please don't demean this anticipated work of art with a collector coin or some other tat like a Catwoman hologram.

The whole shebang could get the neutral head sculpts (one for clean and for BD)

I love how you can’t have an opinion on the jazzinc Facebook group. Posted that the bust was a boring added bonus and would stay in the box but quickly deleted.
