I think it’s meant to highlight their unique under skeletal neck design, which allows for more posing flexibility compared to their competition.

I’m usually afraid to pose most my of figures other than museum style.

Ye that Joker pose is only possible due to the seamless tech, so I understand why they’ve done it; it just looks odd.
