The more i stare at it the more i think something looks off about it. And even at the highest quality pictures those dogs still look like cheap little 2 dollar statues.
This, too. It's amazing how well these companies recreate lifelike human portraits, but they often drop the ball on animals.

I think I favor JND's neutral portrait out of all the Jokers I've seen, but the silicone and rotted hair are instant dealbreakers. Respect to InArt for offering sculpted hair options and sticking with plastic on their action figures.

Now if JND is the first of these companies to make Arnold Conan, I'll be in trouble.

They are artificially creating "want" by making it hard. Don't be fooled.
They aren’t that hard to get. I hear that the 500 units exclusive to the JND store are only for the Korea/Asia/Euro territories, but there’s an additional batch of 500 Type Cs that will be distributed to the US, Canada, Mexico, and Australia exclusively through ToysWonderland.

It's the lower angle shots that throw likeness off, it looks decent at high angles with head tilted down.

Do we know the price for the basic version, or just the two pack? Not really interested in this, just curious.

Somewhat tempted by the basic version to see this new tech in person as the smiling sculpt isn't doing anything for me. But if Kit never gets it I'm guessing I'll never get it. :lol

Type C price was accurate to what was stated early on, so likely the other prices will be too.

Type A = $800

Type B = $1,200
Bonkers.

Honestly, the HT one looks great, and even if it didn't, I'm happy with my InArt, too. While the regular sculpt here looks good, it doesn't look $1,700 better than the InArt or HT. The paint looks good, if somewhat stylized (and this is the one area where perhaps InArt didn't deliver on their prototype), but there's no telling if these guys will deliver, either--and honestly, I'd argue the HT paint looks better, because it isn't as stylized.

Finally, I feel like the silicone selling point is going to end up being more of an expensive gimmick than anything else--and hopefully not a gimmick that leaves people with deteriorating headsculpts.

At the end of the day, ANOTHER Joker when there are already two great options is an easy pass, and $1,700 for two figures is insane. Hell, you could buy an incredible custom head and stick it on an InArt body and get a figure as good or better--losing only the questionable gimmick--for the same price.

I agree with every word you said. I'd add the rolling eyes with the magnet with the silicone skin also. At hat price point, I'm out. Would be great to see others when they get in hand though.
