One of my favorite things about this release is the base.

Waistcoat buttons are looking a little big.

Tie is better than HT and InArt but that isn’t saying much.

No one seems to make the overcoat that deep purple color.
They need to bump up the saturation of it while also making it a bit darker.

Photos make it appear faded, needs a vivid striking purple hue.

Even at night the coat was striking.

people talk about how great the base looks till it isn't structurally sound and stable for the figure to stand because it might not be a solid magnet connection like inart lol

I don't trust mass produced company magnet bases anymore

inart magnets for the base are so ******* weak and they're even worse because now magnets are on the heel of the figure

I don’t believe we’ll have issue with their magnets if Selina Kyle can do this. A pose like that crossing legs in heels is asking for it to lose connection but looks stable despite being on a rough uneven surface.

hopefully its strong, id like it to be strong but I don't intend to be fooled by studio pictures where there may be some aid used to have the figure stand like that. but I'm a skeptic, I'm turned off by inart's magnet bases lol so naturally I want to avoid any other magnet bases besides ones with proper connection with a metallic base that magnets can adhere too instead of magnet on magnet with a gap between them. many custom bases have direct contact or very minimal contact like a thin leather piece that goes over the base or in this case, KP studio using stickers/prints to go over the top of the base

Have you tried the por 5.0’s on the InArt Ledger base? Extremely strong connection for me, though I’d never use it because I find it to not be very attractive.

not ledgers but i have his phoenix's on a leather/metal platform base from por and its strong connection

Still, my InArt Ledger shoes (when they were still intact) never tipped over on the InArt base.

You have to put an index finger on the heel of the shoe with your thumb on the front of the leg just above the top of the shoe, shin level, then press the leg backwards towards the heel. This will make the figure balance in the proper T stance where the weight is going directly into the heels, straight down.

tbh my main issue is the weak ankle pegs, por toy's figure had a metal ankle peg and magnet shoes and leaning or not, he was not gonna fall no matter how I put him in unless It was a pose made on purpose for him to tip over due to his weight

Yeah the ankle pegs are **** on that figure,
my tip helps combat that.

Can’t beat custom, only the eventual imitation.

I also received my final payment notice from JND direct.
I'll wait though, I want to see a good showcase/unboxing video first.

Who did you order with? Mine isn't due yet but holding off too see proper pics, it's alot to drop on something that hasn't been shown properly.

From JND directly.

I can't remember how long you actually have to pay it, though. I recall that you can wait until the reveal video is out.

Was hoping this would release in the time they said it would. Sort of annoys me more if something comes out ahead of schedule instead of delayed.

But good on JND, only ever been on time or early.
