That Sean Connery is impressive at least, if JND ever decide to shrink him down for their 1/6 line I’d be tempted. Indy not so much unfortunately, hopefully they make the changes you all have asked for…wonder if Blitzway/Prime 1 will ever get a chance at him.

I posted this message on the Indiana Jones reveal video on James Park's youtube channel:

"Hello James. What has happened to the Indiana Jones statue? It looks VERY bad in the Shanghai Wonderfest photos I'm seeing today. I shipped the correct colour of pants fabric to Daniel Na who passed it on to the art director who was supposed to be making the production version more accurate. The colour of the pants fabric and the fit of them look very inaccurate. The pants should be more loose and wide all the way down the legs. The hat has a very inaccurate shape and the face is too thin on Indiana - Harrison looked a lot healthier and suntanned in 1989's Last Crusade movie! His eyebrow expression looks goofy and it really has a negative impact on the overall likeness. This statue is supposed to be Last Crusade, but the portrait has got the eyebrow expression seen on the Temple of Doom poster. I sent many constructive criticism comments to JND to try and help highlight where changes could really improve the statue because with the skill of the artists at JND, it should have been much better than what has been presented at Shanghai Wonderfest".

I just had a quick play around in Photoshop because I was curious to see how my custom Raiders of the Lost Ark parts will look on the JND statue.
Man, this just goes to show how horribly they set him up. The gun belt buckle not even visible, holster so far to the side, shirt tucked weirdly and poorly, pants pulling around the waist and not sitting naturally, hat just thrown on randomly...

I won't be satisfied until they can give us this! Do you think I should lower my expectations? LOL.
Did you preorder it? If you did then were you happy with the prototyp?. If you were not then sadly in this hobby it is a risk to pre-order an item in the hope of it improving.
You just need to look at the Superman thread to see some customers think the improvement are better and some want to cancel their orders because they believe the improvement are worse
The reality is if you are not happy then your only option may be to cancel your order.
However I do agree with minimal tweaks and with a bit more care and attention this could be improved. The question is how far advanced in production are there? A similar issue arose I believe with the Bale Batman

I did pre-order it and already purchased many custom parts to turn it into a Raiders Indy. I had direct contact with Daniel Na at JND Studios and shipped him some accurate colored pants fabric which he gave to the art director for the project who thanked me for shipping it out to them. They told me a few times that it was still being worked on to make it better. What annoyed me about what we saw in the photos from Shanghai Wonderfest was that it definitely looked like a step backwards. Pants cut, fit and color being the biggest disappointment.

I totally admire your dedication and enthusiasm to get JND to make alterations to the tailoring and improvements to the sculpt.

If the sculpt does not improve to your requirements will you cancel your order?

I can't afford to cancel my order because TRZ Collectibles will keep 50% of the total amount if cancelled, so I will keep the order and see how it looks in person before deciding whether to sell it on the secondary market if I don't like it.
