Unreal, but somehow believable. It’s almost like they wanted JND to fail.
Well, I am JND and I am cancelling the production. They have to take care of the brand and this publicity is very bad for them. Nothing makes sense. I am also waiting for mine with the sad hope that they will be different when I get them.

I would like to get a better 1/3 scale whip. Who can I contact and what are the prices? I would also like to see if anyone can make a suitcase and umbrella in that scale. Regards and thanks.

I got this little 1/3 work of art from Joseph Strain at Northern Whip Co. However, I would hold onto your dollars before paying for upgrades until you've seen the statue in person. I made the mistake of getting all of my Raiders of the Lost Ark upgrades made and paid for assuming that JND would give us a much better production version of the statue. I wish I'd held off on it and saved myself a LOT of expenditure!

Joe Strains whips are fantastic in any scale! He is a whip making master imho.

Seems odd that it's been more than 2 weeks now since the unboxing and no collectors have got it in hand yet. Just about every JND release has vids up as quick as a week or two. :huh

Virtual Devil on Youtube will probably do a review of it. His Reeve Superman review was great actually and really showed off the statue to its best so hopefully he'll do the same for the Indiana Jones

Well I’m out, 25% deposit eaten.
Think it’s decent enough but I’d rather put the still very large balance I owed toward something I think is great.

Hoping everyone will happy that pays off their balance!

Holy cow, SAB!

I'm really conflicted on this one. Like someone said earlier, don't order it expecting anything more than the prototype, but I was hoping that after stating they would, they'd step up. Saying that, it's still the best Indy statue anyone has ever done, but... the unboxing looks worse than the prototype, and that's the bit that's killing me.

I'll wait on some collector unboxing's before definitively pulling the pin, but at the moment I'm right along side you.

This sure has been the weirdest JND journey (even until now without any more unboxing's nearly 3 weeks after reveal).

Fingers crossed for you that you dig the coming YouTube unboxings.
It’s still a nice piece.

Wait... how much is that 25% in dollars? 😲

Here's an unboxing of the duo set. Looks like a scaled-up Toys McCoy figure. Ugh. :(

There are some truly impressive aspects to these but you would have thought the Indy likeness would have been top priority, followed by great tailoring. Henry almost looks like he's wearing an overcoat and I've seen 1/6 figs with better draping Indy pants. Indy's head also looks to be a bit undersized.

You really wonder whether these could have been articulated figures rather than statues so you could improve on that bizarrely bland Indy pose. Indy has so many iconic poses yet they went with this one? Looks like he's waiting off camera between takes.

It is a bit sad to see such a ambitious/huge undertaking sunk by a Scott Bakula sculpt done by Toys McCoy.

Allow me to correct myself.. "I'll wait for collector unboxing's..."

...that know how to futz the damn thing correctly, can use a camera without obscene lens adoration, and have some idea about color balance :slap

I have my popcorn ready - I'm waiting for the creative explanations from the JND fanbase to explain this dog water....

I feel bad for the people that had genuine hope and faith in JND to deliver a decent piece - and while it could be said, that JND deliver according to their prototype - somehow, in this specific case. I realise that quality of likeness is extremely subjective.
