Man that hat looks ridiculous,
what’s he got under there?

FFS. Just when I was feeling more positive about this piece, someone comes along with the most awful lens distorted photos taken so far!

Yep - these people genuinely think they are helping the "community" - but, their kack-handed use of a phone camera generates more drama then anything else.

I wish these folks would, honestly, just do nothing - they are the equivalent of the incompetent Firefighter - who thinks he's saving lives, but instead of water, he's spraying the inferno with petrol.

100% agree. I'm optimistic about Indy having now received the Reeve Superman and Clark Kent which are both absolutely outstanding in person and far better than even the best photo I've seen on them online.

Fellow collector over on statue forum just received his Indy and said it's extremely good in person. He said that the likeness isn't 100% but is very close and he also said that the pants are darker in person than they appear in the photos. Looks like this is another one that really will be much better in person. Looking forward to doing my Raiders upgrade on it when mine comes (probably towards the end of January).

This is precisely why I don’t post photos. I know that my pics would just do a disservice to just about any figure/statue.

It is very hard to photograph these JND pieces that's for sure. Photos that I've shown of my Chris Reeve Superman and Clark don't come anywhere near close to capturing how good they look in person, so I hesitated on showing them. I just posted the non lens-distorted images that I'd got, but I shot about 50 photos and only 2 or 3 were "decent" enough to post here. LOL

Everything looks better in person. I’m sure Indy will as well.

Wouldn't normally bother posting something like this as it's full of all the "camera issues" we all speak about endlessly, but.. it's worth checking out the Cinemaquette comparison at the end.

I think the Cinemaquette is actually Indy's European cousin, Giovanni Jones.
