I'll have to wait until I get delivery of my dual set first before I decide - that's not scheduled to be until December according to TRZ Collectibles.

No worries cking. I know you'll be happy with Superman and I'm almost sure you'll feel the same way about the CK statue once it's in hand. Just in case there's a tiny 🤏 chance you decide to sell him, keep me in mind.

My replacement arrived a day early 😀. Definitely my favorite statue. Glad to have it back again 🙌.

Fantastic. Really glad they came through with a nice replacement for you. :)
I LOVE that display case you've got him in - where did you get that from if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you!

As for the display case. I bought a glass curio cabinet on Amazon and did simple modifications to it. I glued the glass together using UV glue. Then I widened the grooves a bit on the top & bottom of the wood bases where the glass sits using a routing bit tool and my dremmel. As for the pedestal, I ordered that online.

Not sure if you wanted to know all that😅 but It was just a simple DIY glass display case idea i wanted to try which turned out well, IMO.

I was going to wait until the weekend where I'll have more time to clear out the spot where I'll be putting my CR statue and enjoy the unboxing experience, plus it's late and I'm tired🥱 but I was anxious to finally see it already. I did a quick unboxing and snapped a quick pic. First impression, this statue is incredible😲. There are some great photos online but, as some have said, they still don't do this statue any justice. It's a totally different experience when seeing it in person🙂. It's no doubt Christopher Reeve. It's almost creepy how realistic looking the silicone portrait is. I also love how well the suit is sculpted. The cape feels high quality and drapes really well. I know the fortress of solitude themed bases have been done to death but I like the simplicity of this one. I guess my only gripe about this piece is there was a bit of loose rooted hair around the neck and little rooted hairs sticking out on the headsculpt which I was able to fix with a bit of water. I didn't notice any bald spots or areas on the sculpt where the hair could've come un-rooted(for lack of a better word), so not sure where the loose hair came from. Regardless, I couldn't be more happy to finally have a CR Superman statue in my collection😀.

Again, here's a quick crappy pic I took😅.View attachment 734111

Congrats on the statue!

Have to ask, what is your Joker in? Looks like a mini Detolf??

EDIT: Just saw your post, glad you got a good replacement back also!

Thanks man🍻

How are you liking your duo set up now that you've had them for a bit?
Unfortunately, I still don’t have a place for my JND pieces 😖 so I’ve only done the unboxings at their point to make sure there weren’t any QC issues. I do plan to open it up again just to look at during the holiday this week if I have time though. 😅
