the hairstyle looks modified?

It was changed from the original proto. But I don’t think the owner made any changes. That’s how mine looks right out of the box

These two photos show how a collector improved the appearance even more by putting the hair covering the tops of his ears. I don't know why JND did it like they have with the tops of his ears being fully exposed. This looks SO much better.
