Got mine yesterday and I am blown away! I hate to overuse "pix don't do it justice", but this is seriously an amazing statue.
Has anyone come up with a cool way to display the plaque? I was thinking of having the local plexiglass shop maybe build me a sandwich style holder (black acylic back with a clear front) with a kickstand on the back for display, but looking for ideas.

nice to hear so much positive feedback now that more folks are getting it in hand. Truly an incredible piece! As I’ve said though, it sucks for JND that these silicone sculpts just do not photograph nearly as good as they look in person and there are some great pics in here and online
So, I just received my Superman, and it looks fantastic! If you want the absolute best Christopher Reeve Superman collectible, this is it. That said, I do feel his head is a bit small, and his arms seem slightly long. However, when you view the piece as a whole, it looks amazing.
I’d like to offer a perspective that may be a bit unique to this conversation. I’ve been a professional artist in video games for 25 years and have worked on statues in the past for Prime 1. From my professional standpoint, I believe JND should reconsider using silicone. While it looks good, it doesn’t look double the price good, and I think this material choice is holding them back.
First, while it's true that silicone mimics natural skin by absorbing light, this characteristic diminishes visible detail at scale. In person, you can see the sculpt’s skin pores, but in photos, these details are lost — I’d estimate around 50% of the work’s quality disappears in pictures. As an artist, I imagine the studio is thrilled with their results, but as a businessperson, if you can't effectively market your product, what’s the point? Presentation is everything.
Second, the high cost of silicone limits their customer base and potentially stunts the company's growth, especially when traditional materials can achieve nearly the same level of quality for a fraction of the price.

I can see your perspective but what they're doing seems to be working for them regardless. While you say that conventional materials can achieve nearly the same level of quality, they're clearly going for something superior, even if it's difficult to capture in photos and videos. 1/3 polystone is already a crowded space and we see the competition following JND's model and introducing silicone statues. It's clear they're disrupting the market to an extent so they must be doing something right. The high prices don't bother me, since they have a leg up on the competition, in my opinion. Basically, it's worth it. I'm actually happy to see their edition sizes shrinking since I think smaller runs will help their statues retain quality and value.
