how the hell did I miss this one too??!??! I loved it!! anyone see it? a great movie. Chow yun-fat is the ++++!

One of my favorite movies by John Woo. Chow Yun Fat rules! Watch part two. I think it's better than part one. There is also a third one but it doesn't compare with the first two.

BT II has the most awesome, badass and downright gar ending fight ever.
Ever.

Ever.

I don't know, the fight in the church at the end of the Killer was pretty awesome. Needless to say, though, these two are due to the greatness that is the John Woo/Chow Yun Fat team-up from the Hong Kong days.

A better tomorrow's a great film. 2nd greatest hong kong film ever (according to some list). BTW, is anyone making ABT Chow Yun Fat 1/6 figure?

i liked the first one. the second one was ok and anything after that was just lame. :lol

i like hard boiled much better though. awesome gunplay

Wow, Feng's CYF looks great! I wonder if also makes the "Suave" version too? Just like in the beginning of the film with shades and all.

I would be interested in both versions but yes also depends on price :)

I really need to get into some Woo. Where should I start?

1. A Better Tomorrow - Greatest CYF and Woo collaboration... Hong Kong Film Awards (It's like AFI greatest) 2nd greatest film. My personal favorite.
2. The Killer - Totally killer assassin movie. First time I watched it I was blown away with the how smooth CYF was. Also on the HKFA list.
3. Hardboiled - lots of people think of this as the greatest action film ever...
4. A Better Tomorrow 2 - Insane shootouts and hardcore scene at the NY restaurant is not to be missed.
5. Full Contact - Hard hitting action, punk CYF (this is directed by Ringo Lam, but it's really awesome.

I think if you start with those you'll have a great time.

I wanted to a few years back...but I had this silly fear of subtitles, well, i'm over that, and ready to enjoy ALL forms of cinema, english or otherwise!
