Hi,

I've read a rumour somewhere on the net, that they're planning a remake of the "Johnny 5" movie in 2010.

Does anybody know if this is true?

It would be great if this opens the chance to finaly buy a model of that robot!!!
I wanted to have this robot since I was a child!

Its a very detailed fanmade resin model kit about 16inches tall when built I think only 20 or less where made.The second was a cross between the 2 films im still waiting on that one.

I remember way back when i was 10 or so, they were filming Short Circuit 2 here in Toronto and i did see some of the film crew under the Gardner Expressway(where they filmed one of the final scenes). I know there was the miniture remote Johnny 5 toys made for scenes in the movie that went for auction online i believe but, there was never really and good collectibles for these movies at all. I hope Hot Toys would some how pump one out but, i doubt it.

A company better make j5 toys after all they will sell but alot of company's dont want to because j5 is to complex to mass produce.
