Super Freak
Thanks for starting to post your work. So much for stuff!!
Your more than welcomeWelcome to the Freaks show!
My shipment of your fantastic Imperial and Rebel Fleet Trooper holster/belts are making their way to me! Thanks to Chakaman for pointing me to you and your leather skills.
They all look great. Did you print all the armor yourself? Where did you get the jump suits? Also selfmade?Printed troopers and parts
Yes the armour is printed and I made the stormtrooper under suits, the Tank trooper under suits might be homebrew or I might have replaced them at that pointThey all look great. Did you print all the armor yourself? Where did you get the jump suits? Also selfmade?
What material did you use for the undersuits ? Some stretch fabric? 3d printers are the best that could happen to custom freaks, even though they are not cheap. Did you get data sets for the armor?Yes the armour is printed and I made the stormtrooper under suits, the Tank trooper under suits might be homebrew or I might have replaced them at that point
.I use 4 way stretch fabric (it was a black seat cover off ebay, sold as a wedding reception seat cover). If I buy an armour file it's generally a 1:1 scale set that I modify for 1/6, the first style of armour is usually the hardest as your setting up the scale and fit for the body your using but now I'm set up to army build R1 and ANH Stormtroopers I modelled my own sandy pack bits so I can do any of the (4 ?, can't remember it's been a while since I deep dived them) packs. I commissioned a 1:1 snowtrooper helmet years ago so that served well as a base for Veers and Ferrix Troopers. 3d printing is awesome and a game changer but theres still room for the old techniques, I've been printing for over 10 years now with fdm then started with resin when the Photon cam out, my latest kick is Lars line up droids but I just got a load of SS R2 units off TheSonofDengar / Kash so I'll be printing new heads for a few, but one's getting a servo stuffed up it's bum to make his head spin in the back of an X Wing
Wow,that will look awesome. Hope you get it done the way you wish. Can’t wait for the resultI bought a frikin Layzor, sadly no shark to mount it on though. Going from my low level 3d modelling skills to 2d and lightburn was not as difficult as I was expecting, still a learning curve but it's a gentle one so far. Managed to draw up the files for a few DS style walls. Doing myself 9 to run across a 180cm shelf might cut it to 7 and a door though.
All in its cost about £1700 so farWoah! What laser did you get? Is it an affordable option for custom work? Great job!
