So how goe the struggle my fellow noobie??? I sware I have mucked out the eye region on mine like 10 times, but I think I FINALLY got it...lol. Going t smooth and bake this weekend I think.

Well I haven't worked much on the Batman head this week but i did discover I went a little too big scale wise, not huge but it's noticeable. So I haven't decided if I'm going to just tone this one down and kinda start over or use it for something else. I've also started a second project. I'll post it when it's a little further along.

I had the same scale issue with my first attempt. So when I restarted I decided to buy a set of calipers to measure it out. I don't know about you, but I think I ended up getting so large because I was always adding clay to get a certain shape, and never taking anything away. So it just kept getting larger and larger.... So many tricks to learn....lol

Are you working with Super Sculpey? I used that stuff for a while but it's so smooooshy. I tried wax and it's much better for detail, but of course, harder to work with. Nice start on your creature (and Batman)!

I'm using Super Sculpey Firm Clay, it's a little harder and holds the detail a little better. But, still a work in progress and I need to get used to it. Thanks for the comments!

Leo is done who should I do next?
Bummer sorry I missed everything over the weekend. Sorry mate but I just don't get on here during those two days. Leo looks great. I think even a little bit of blue highlighting on the mask would set it off!
As for whom you should do next I think if you wanted a completely different personality trait it has to be either Don or Mikey but then again with Raph you can just go all out completely mental so I guess it depends on what mood YOU'RE in

I like the shading of the belt too it looks very cool
I gotta know what you wrote on the scroll behind him too
