True, true. More of the predators.

Question: What do you guys think the piece is between the T-Rex's head and the Clone Troopers head? The weird little piece sticking straight up. Is that a part of the CLone Trooper?

It's been guess, and I believe it, that the weird thing is Gandalf's staff, and based on where his shadow is, I'd say that's probably true.

I think is the T-rex with the raptor but i dont know which are the silhouettes of the thing that looks like Gandalf's staff and Rambo and Hellboy well its only a dream but he looks pretty close to the silhouette who knows.........i can dream:rolleyes:

I was thinking that if these are stand alone dinosaurs, I'm not interested - we've seen that so much before. But a dio that is recognizably from Jurassic Park and not just generic dinos - that's more intriguing to me.

I'm curious why some people are more interested in just a stand-alone dino?

Don't forget that these are the first high end Jurassic Park collectibles ever. Ok, there where the bronze statues and the horizon kits you can count (but you had to build them).
So people who are fans of this movie (like me :D) would literally take anything which is a cool respresentation of the movie.

I'm much more interested in JP-specific dioramas. Hopefully, the price will be right, and they'll be in line with the SW dios.

Also, I'm in agreement with those who think the silhouette is T-Rex with the Raptor in its jaws. Looking closer at the shapes, it seems clear that the lower piece is Rambo's bandana, and the upper shape is the Raptor tail. The bottom (bandana) has a ribbon-like shape whereas the upper (Raptor) is curved and tapered. Also, it curves toward the upper right instead of toward Rambo's head.

It's definately the tip of his staff, I agree.

Sideshow Dio's tend to be too small for my taste. Especially a Dino would have to be shockingly large.

Well for me, above all else, I love Tyranosaurs, and the JP design was beautiful. Having the JAWS "Bruce" Maquette from Sideshow, I can just imagine a T-Rex maquette like that in size and how it embodies the creature, and I'd love a T-Rex piece like that. Not exclusively, I like the action dio idea as well. I'm just hoping to see some individual maquettes also.

This looks to surely be a diorama of the climactic battle at the end of Jurassic Park between the T.rex and the Velociraptors. I don't know about this rest of you, but this is surely a must have for me. They could nary have chosen a better flagship piece for this line!

I, too, would like stand-alone Dinos. I have the Weta Dinosaur busts and they are absolutely amazing. I can only imagine what sideshow would do with a 1/6 scale T-Rex full size statue.

I was just thinking how cool it would be is one of the Jurassic items was a LSB or a 1:1!!!! :monkey4

Some Dino-Goodness for you while waiting for the big announcements :D

A Diorama i built several years ago. Both dinosaurs are really big. The T-Rex is about 42" long from head to tail and the Triceratops is around 32" long.
Scale is 1:10.
