As Malcolm said. Just cause they can doesn’t mean they should lol. It’s a stupid idea. Especially if it looks like a muto. What a stupid design.

bro it's gonna be so sick

they always wanted mutant dinos since they were trying to do Jurassic Park 4.
it's inevitable

You are correct. I should've expanded on what I said a bit more. What I was trying to say is that I wouldn't take the rumors of a mutant dino to heart as there have been rumors in the past that took fire and felt like a sure thing, but ended up amounting to absolutely nothing. The rumors about the Spinosaurus appearing in JWD were everywhere and I was even starting to believe it. But nope, no Spino. Not even a mention of it.

Now all that said, yes, I wouldn't be too shocked if there is some sort of mutant dino or human-dino hybrid. It's an idea that's been floating around at Universal for over 20 years. They even made it the focus of the 2002 Halloween Horror Nights at Islands of Adventure, and I'm sure everyone remembers these concepts from an early draft of JP4, way back around 2004:

Like ugh, I can't even

I think my biggest fear for Rebirth is that it ends up being a somewhat decent and entertaining movie for the most part, perhaps even leaps and bounds ahead of the past three, but then suddenly a subplot involving a mutant dino slaps us all in the face and completely ruins the movie.

I definitely prefer the spino rumors. It grew on me. Jp3 wasn’t the best but atleast it had dinosaurs and explored different things.

I completely agree. JP/// has grown on me over the years, and I wouldn't mind seeing the Spino again. For what it's worth, leaked listings for the Rebirth action figure line indicate there will be at least three different Spino toys. So who knows, maybe all those rumors of the Spino being in JWFK or JWD were just premature and it's going to make an appearance in Rebirth?

I understand the dinosaurs aren’t accurate to how they are but they still look like freakin dinosaurs and not abominations. So yes let’s hope they stay grounded. But those rumors made my excitement low

Yeah, I hear ya. I think for a lot of us who went into JWD with high hopes only to have them dashed, it's difficult to get excited about Rebirth. Especially with the mutant dino rumors starting to pick up momentum. I'm still looking forward to it though. The fact David Koepp wrote it is enough to make me feel optimistic. The set photos of old, derelict InGen facilities in a tropical location help too 😎

Not planning on seeing this, but if a well-executed "hybrid" worth watching (and reading) is on your radar, check out "Relic".
