I love in the armpit of the north east, I don't think we have Dino exhibits.

You should make it a point to visit one at least once. I highly recommend!!!

I've definitely considered taking a trip specifically to NYC to hit all the museums.

Agreed. Last time I went was a decade ago. I spent the entire day there, from opening to closing, but it was well worth it.

Trailer was ok. My biggest take away: how similar the CGI in this looks compared to the original movie. I am honestly impressed how well JP1 holds up today.

The movie still has almost 7 months of post-production, a lot of the CGI is unfinished and was rushed for the trailer. The CGI gate won't be in the final movie, it will be a real one.

Fair enough. Not that it looked bad to me, just similar. I dunno. I don't know if this is a sequel or remake? Seemed more like a remake to me

It's a direct sequel set 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park.

Uhh... The Museum of Natural History in New York City. Great Dino exhibit there, took my Daughter last summer and she loved it.

Trailer made this look like a reboot of the original Jurassic Park... Story looks the same.. but I'll probably still go see it...

Yep, dinosaurs aren't nearly as big as you imagine as a kid. When standing next to their skeletons in museums, I'm almost always underwhelmed. I still love them, but they never live up to what I imagined, and saw, in movies growing up.
