I haven't been bringing it up but my mom has been battling cancer for quite some time. Things were doing good and she was in remission but things got complicated a couple of weeks ago and her body started shutting down. Yesterday morning, I lost her.
Having been there when I lost my Dad, my uncle, my brother-in-law and now Mom, I can tell you that there is nothing worse than watching a family member, or anyone for that matter, fade from this life.
Anyway, not trying to get mushy here, been doing enough of that on my own, just wanted to post a heads up should I not get back to anyone on something.

I feel your pain. :monkey2

Sorry to hear about that Ironman. My prayers will be with you.

My sympathies. I know firsthand what it feels like having lost my father and grandmother around the same time and at a young point in my life. It can be troubling and I wish you the best of luck in overcoming what you must be feeling like now. I'm so sorry.

sorry to hear about your lost. i wish you and your family the best regards during this difficlut time in your lives .

Its never easy.

I watched my Fathers chest rise and fall for the last time, holding his right hand. I was 21.

I had gotten my life turned around and had made him proud by that time, so for that I am thankful. Wish we would have had more time together though.
Cherish the time you have together folks....

That took me to a place I had never been before, and made me think about things, what really matters in this life. You know, statues n' stuff. (JK - Hope you got a chuckle)

Time heals all wounds. Be strong, she's still with you......

sorry for your loss.
I lost my mother & father to cancer as well. I know what youre going thru. ... stay strong ....

Condolences. As a prior member of this sad club, I'm sorry that you've joined it.I wasn't ready to be an orphan at 44; come to think of it, I'm still not ready, a feeling I expect you share completely...PS

really sorry for your loss. it is always a difficult time, but im sure she's keeping an eye on you.

I feel your pain and condolences to you and your family. Lost my mom when I was 20.

So just try to think on all the positive ways she affected you and the rest of the people around her. It doesn't get easier to think of lossing her, it just hurts a little less with time.

I never grew up with a mom as I lost her to cancer as well when I was 3 :monkey2. I am truely sorry for your loss, but remember she is your angel watching over you :angelsmil. She is in no more pain, because she is in a better place. Just think one day you will see her again in heaven :D, and I, will get to meet mine :D

I am so very sorry for your loss and pain. I, like quite a few others here, have been through this because of this insidious disease. Lost my dad to colon cancer and my mom to breast cancer 7 months later. If you need someone to talk to shoot a PM.
