Just caught a bat...

I caught a bat once at work, or rather he caught me. I was in my office and one came flying in. We have no idea how he got in there. He flew around the entire office for about 20 min. We cornered him in one area in the loading area. He finally got tired and landed on my leg. He was just hang out on my leg looking up at me. He was kind of cute. I walked him outside and he finally took off and flew to some trees. I was happy that I could save him.

I've actually seen 2 bats in my Mom's house... but there was a span of about 10 years in between the occurrences. The 2nd time was just a couple of years ago... its an odd thing to see a black shape flying around in the kitchen. I remember it took me a bit to realize what was happening.

Luckily I was able to catch him in a box and I tossed the box outside so as it opened in the air he was able to fly out. Craziest thing is as he flew out he turned towards me for just a split second and I got a flash of porch light reflecting in his eyes.

That was an amazingly described experience filled with fantastic descriptive adjectives Neil! So will this be chapter one of your new book then? Bravo man, I laughed hard about you possibly becoming a superhero or your wife wanting to possibly sell and move over this!
