Agreed. Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Gram Parsons, Uncle Tupelo, Steve Earle and others get heavy rotation on my iPod.
However, Taylor Swift, Billy Ray Cyrus and the rest of their ilk do not.

With the celebrity world raining scorn upon him, Kanye West issued a second, more heartfelt apology Monday for his outburst during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the Video Music Awards.
"I feel like Ben Stiller in Meet the Parents when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave," West writes on his blog. "That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry."
In his first apology, West said he was "SOOOOO SORRY" for interrupting Swift on stage, but repeated his on-air remark that Beyoncé still had the better video.

I got W Nelson and Cash on my phone, along with a couple Kenny Rogers, Dixie Chicks and a few Reba. I need to get dukes of hazard song for my phone. I listen to everything and when everything else is played out, there's always country.
Taylor Swift will be huge soon. I think she has two albums out, she's only 18 or 19, and very pretty. I think she represents this newer and younger face of country that appeals to a wider audience than just NASCAR fans.

I saw Kanya on Leno last night. That guy should never speak in public unless his publicist writes down exactly what he needs to say. I have seen 3 year olds put together better sentences than him. And if it was staged then MTV has become even more of a joke network having to turn to crap like that to get people to talk about their crap awards shows.
