Re: *UPDATED* Kato 1/6 Funny Man Outfit - Blazer Payment Due. Taking 2nd RUN Deposits

Can't wait to see the completed look. Shame I couldn't afford a full new set. I have what I need to make the interrogation look I was going for, but wish to have got another Full set for the Future, but honestly don't know how I would get hold of a decent Joker sculpt to go with a full outfit, as Adam seems really busy these days. These days WTF? I don't know when he ain't. Congrats on those that have got the full suit, look forward to seeing your pics. I'm saving my funds to try and get back on track with my Hot toys Line, and defo the HT Bruce Wayne. I have 350 dollars set aside for that but hopefully will find one for less. Thanks Kato, and I will just have to continue with your work time when you go back to the Bruce Wayne suit.

Re: *UPDATED* Kato 1/6 Funny Man Outfit - Blazer Payment Due. Taking 2nd RUN Deposits

Ok, I received my TT Advanced and my Narrow today. I wanted to switch the arms but I dont know how to unscrew them. May someone be willing to help me with that? Im sure its not that hard when you know whatyou have to do. :lol

Any help would be appreciated.

Also the left knee joint is extremly lose. Is it somehow possible to fix that?

I tried to unscrew them but my screwdriver was not the right size, I ended up just sanding the advanced arms instead of replacing.

Shortround gave some good advice though about replacing the upper arms - i'd get in touch with him.

Re: *UPDATED* Kato 1/6 Funny Man Outfit - Blazer Payment Due. Taking 2nd RUN Deposits

My problem is I cannot get to the screws. How do I open the wholes at the back?
As for the knee joint, wasnt it possible to pull the knee joint out of the upper leg?

Re: *UPDATED* Kato 1/6 Funny Man Outfit - Blazer Payment Due. Taking 2nd RUN Deposits

Use the flat tip of a flat scredriver and dig the covers off the screws, it will damage the edge area a little but I guess it's the only way (another reason to just sand it down).

Not sure about the knee joint

Re: *UPDATED* Kato 1/6 Funny Man Outfit - Blazer Payment Due. Taking 2nd RUN Deposits

Yes, sanding down might be a little easier, but I want to use the arms with my Gambit custom. The Narrow arms dont look nice with him. ;)

Btw: having the two bodies in front of me. Compared to each other the Advanced is miles better than the Narrow. :rock

Re: *UPDATED* Kato 1/6 Funny Man Outfit - Blazer Payment Due. Taking 2nd RUN Deposits

Yeah the body is just far better, Narrow still works well for figs that are supposed to be less built

Did some research when my Regular TT's knee broke, guess the knees were very fragile in the first TTs, the later ones now are much sturdier, I believe.

Found this when I was surfing for a solution to the knee issue. I do not know if I can post this link here, Mods please delete if it violates the guidelines; just offering some help. They have discussed 3-4 ways of fixing the knee issue on that page:

dunnoificanpostthishere

So, to fix mine, I ordered (and sacrificed) one barrack sergeant body, got it quite cheap on the bay. I too am thinking of replacing my Advanced TT's arms with the Regular TT so that the arms become thinner. Haven't really started yet, will post some pics once I perform the surgery! But know for sure that the forearms can be removed exactly the way you remove the knee joints.

Re: *UPDATED* Kato 1/6 Funny Man Outfit - Blazer Payment Due. Taking 2nd RUN Deposits

Man this helps alot! So the knee joint is completly removable from lower and upper leg without causing any damage. So I will just switch wit a tighter one. Thanks alot!

Glad to hear it was of some help :) Hope to find a solution for replacing the arms soon, will let you know. On second thoughts (with reference to your earlier post), if you replace the arms of Advanced with Narrow, wouldn't the body become almost a Narrow? Are you trying to work around for some other figure?

Coming back to the topic, just like few others here; Kato's outfit Joker will be my Grail now! Moving to 1/6 'Dolls' :) was a paradigm shift for me as a Collector and now THIS, will be one step further!

Thank you Kato, for showing us this breakthrough in 1/6 Movie Accurate clothing!
