Once I hear back from STARK INDUSTRIES regarding the cost of the fabric, I will let you know, and we'll see what the total comes to per person.

Kato - what would the cost be from your side for the blazer assuming we pay for the fabric (so you have no material costs), both for the full sleeve version, and for the sleeveless version?

This way we can figure out what the cost will in total for the blazer.

To be honest, I think that Stark colour looks identical to Kato's first option if my monitor is being at all semi-accurate.
I'm easy, either way. Hell, I would even be content on using my dyed item! :p
If I had to choose though, I'd say that Stark stuff. Would probably touch it up in-hand. If it dyes the liner too, so be it, don't see that section anyway :p

C'mon Kato, posts like that make me uneasy. You wouldn't leave us with half a Joker outfit would you? ..... Would you? :eek: :p
I mean, we pay decent money for these pieces. Damn, VERY decent money for these pieces, it's just that we want to have a little input into making it as close as possible.
We all understand that it can never be perfect, especially considering colour, but we just want to have a friendly discussion about seeing if it is possible to make it better or as close as it can be. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it isn't. Nobody thinks any less of you, we all appreciate and respect your work as a customizer... a lot!

well put blakus. we all knew coming into this project that it would NOT be cheap. i say let's give kato a chance to make the prototypes and give us a price before we start lighting the torches.

Hi, guys. I received reply from tailor now. He said he can offers this fabric. Its total price is maybe $50. Is it ok?...

$50 spread over 20 people is only $2.5 per person.

Kato - Please advise what the estimated cost would be of the blazer once we provide you with the fabric for
1. Full sleeve version
2. sleeveless version

I propose once the fabric is with you, and you have completed the overcoat, if you could please make a prototype with full sleeves, take pictures on the full outfit, then cut the sleeves and take pictures with the full outfit.

Then based on the pictures and the price difference, we'll decide which one to go for!

It's $50 for 9yrds. I'm not sure it is exact prices in this moment. He'll let me know after he checks it. $50 is just estimated prices from tailor.

Dear all,

This is my opinion :

1. If possible pls get a small piece lets say A4 size and take some more pictures again under different light source such as D60, Led light...daylight...etc... Make sure that it is really ok for all of you. I know it maybe complicated, but it will be more safe and cheap to send a small piece of swatch to me , Umair or Neo ...etc to justify the color before any final decision.

2. I am now developing the coat and I will put it on the Bond's suit first. So no need to worry about the fitting .

3. USD50 is the farbic cost only...you guy still need to consider the transportation cost ...I hv no idea how much is it.

4. I cannot quote the price of the blazer now as it is not developed yet. I will be in trouble if i make any mistake in price quotation. I don't want to explain or argue with people with that afterward. I hope you will understand.

I think by this stage we all know it's not his first language ..but threatening to not do a part of the suit is not the result of bad English, but we are past that now:)

I am not meaning to threaten man...I just think I am unable to offer satisfactory blazer anymore , I prefer give up/surrender only.:monkey2

Dude nobody it's questioning your quality:dunno the blazer was grey it's that simple ..and i don't think any of us wanted to spend $130-200 on a piece of clothing that was the wrong color, but all that is in the past, it look's like we may have the right material now:)
