I wouldn't Mike. The medicom ones are no more accurate than those. They're just a standard medicom shoe painted a random brown.

Have you seen the brown aci ones?

Got any pics, Hector?

Actually the Medicom shoes are pretty accurate Hector - they just feel. Little cheap but look amazing

I just saw some pics online of the medicom, they seem like patent leather to me. Which aren't accurate, like what hector says. The screen used ones aren't wing tips too. They look like normal brown plain toes it seems.

Not sure which ACI shoes Hector is referring to as more accurate but the Medi's look amazing like I said

Those are not bad but the medi are definitely more accurate colour wise - while neither are exactly right sculpt wise

Color wise, yes. Definitely not accurate. They're the same as my medicom LOST Jack Shepard. But just another option without having to buy the medicom Wayne JUST for the shoes. :lol

Will it fit those 1/6 shoes though, Dane?

It should go through the eyelets no problem as it's thinner (at least the stuff I've used in the past is), and it should look more in scale as 1/6 laces. :)

It also gives you some control over how you "pose" the loops of bow, because the wax kind of holds the thread in place when you bend it.

From the pics, it looks very thick though. Had it been as thin as the laces from the platoon Chris Taylor boots, I would think it will fit.

But seeing as it's described as: This thread is also fantastic for making friendship bracelets; top-stitching; scrapbooking

I don't think it's thin enough to fit into a 1/6 shoes eyelets?

The diameter of the stuff I've used in the past was plenty small to work, but I can't guarantee that the thread I've linked is the same diameter. You can use the measurements of the stuff I linked as a baseline, and try to fine some other waxed thread out there that's small enough to work, because I know it exists. :exactly:
