I've kind of settled in the same place you are in regard to this figure. Those diorama pieces look like they're going to add quite a bit cost-wise, and if I'm honest... I'm kind of "played out" on Karloff's Frankenstein. Don't get me wrong - he'll always be among my top 3 interpretations of the creature - it's just his image been everywhere for nearly 100 years, and I guess I'm just getting a little tired of it?
Yes, it's been saturated. However, I have a distinct feeling I may cave on this one. At least the figure. I come back to this thread and stare at the pictures often. Fortunately it's Schrödinger's Cat at the moment. Not pre ordered, yet pre-ordered in my mind simultaneously, until the actual date of order appears, lol. I wish I had more resolve when it comes to Karloff and Lugosi in their signature roles. I won't even feign any hesitation with Wolfman though. He's bought the second its able to be.

I agree that The Monster is Karloff's signature character and I'm sure that when it comes time I'll pre-order. I have the Sideshow version which I'm pretty happy with, but after seeing the promo pics for KP's version, I'll find it hard to resist! I jumped onto the Horror Film bandwagon with their Lugosi figure for the same reason. As Lugosi's signature role it's hard to resist. I do have to be careful though and as much as I'm impressed with the Phantom set, I decided to passfor budget and space reasons......
