The Aquilifer (from Aquila=eagle) was paid twice the amount of a legionary because he carried the honor of the legion.

And was not an easy task, really easy to make an animal in 1:6 that doesn't look too much "toy like".
But I think we found a nice compromise!

Great collection, man. I'd love to some figures of different tribes like the Picts of Scotland (before it was Scotland, or Alba), or Gaels, Saxons, Angles etc.

I'd love to see those figures made as well.

KP are going to release a Gaul, and by the parts shown so far it looks as though it will be the one crouching down at the front:

I'm sure if he sells well they'll make more Celts, and hopefully other 'enemies of Rome' such as Picts. They're developing a new muscle body to use with the Gaul, so that would be a good start for a painted Pict.

Yes new body KP04A will be used for this project!
And our Gaul release it's actually very inspired by this book picture.
