I don't know about respect because most of the people I know could care less about him or his movies. Usually when people talk about him, it's usually in a disrespectful manner.

:lol:lol

That last sentence was funny. I usually am witness to the opposite though. People always talking about how great he is. If he was really any good then he'd have something new to show for it....

notice how briefly he answered the question?? and it will probably bomb big time just like jersey girl. i think his best movies are Mallrats, Dogma, Clerks 2. the other ones are really sub par because they are just rehashes of old characters.

Kevin Smith F@#kin' Rules, I had the pleasure of meeting him at WWLA this year and he is a really down to earth cat. :rock

He actually has been doing quite a bit lately, just not his own stuff. Besides acting in Die Hard and Catch & Release, he directed the pilot episode of Reaper and will be a recurring director of Heroes: Origins...

i remember the line to get in... over 8000 strong.

Yea, I was about 20 feet from getting in and they stopped letting people in, I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO mad. He's one of my favorite guys, besides Bruce Campbell and I missed him. Oh well, next year I suppose.

Tips for Hall H when a big panel is going to happen (Kevin Smith always has a full house)...

-Get there a panel before. Getting there 30 minutes before a 'big' panel usually won't work.

That is all.

Yea, I rushed from the stargate panel and got there about an hour before kevin was supposed to be on. Should have left my panel early, but i wanted to see them both. Oh well, hate it when they double book the panels I want to go to. They should know not to do that...

It sucks when that happens. I was a little worried about the Joss Whedon panel (when I got there an hour before the line was HUGE and had been cut off but luckily by lottering around the line was finally opened again and I got in after the "Futurama" panel ended *whew*).
