Would seem a shame to cut this off so high, seems a little unnaturally cutoff where it is if you know what a mean? Adding just a few inches of the upper chest piece and letting the angle of the neck piece drop away from the helm would I think sell it better as a bust.

That's solid input. I'm still toying with the base.
The helmet is tall, and I'm trying to balance everything to still fit nicely in my besta. A few inches of the chest-plate would be nice. I'll share some photos as things shape up.

Oh didn't consider you needed to fit a space lol, but if Space allows consider it how you would take a pic of a person. It always looks strange if you cut them off at a joint in this case the armpit.
This will sound weird, but if you cut off at the joint your mind says there's something weird here something's missing, whereas if you add a little bit more the mind will fill the details and go with the illusion. You'll see model makers use the same trick with dioramas. You imagination will add the rest of the story.
