Same for mine, but I wasn't really expecting it to be too crispy. It was damn good, just could've used a little less salt.

So now, I officially dont like the Double Down.

The cheese is gross, the chicken is grosser. I needs to be CRISPY....it was bearly cripsy. It was wet and greasy, it should be easy to eat without burning your ____ing hand. And the worst part? Horrible ____s of death. Ew.

Original recipe isn't crispy around my KFCs, it's a soft spicy breading. This would be better though if they could make it extra crispy.

The crispier the better. Makes a less disgusting slippery/greasy sandwich. I know original recipe isnt that crispy but it's a sacrifice they have to make for this deal. Also I imagine if you leave it in the box too long the condensation makes it soggy.

I think the special sauce is bunk though. Detracts from the sandwich.

Also there's no way in hell it's only 540 calories..has anyone broken this down yet?

It sounds about right to me. It is made with two breast filets, which are 170 each. The rest is the cheese, sauce and bacon.

Yep that's all it is.

And the 2 breast fillets together = 1 average sized breast at most.

And it's only 2 measly peaces of bacon. I've said it before: bacon is like a bookmark.

Grease is like a laxative for me. I stay away from anything fried. I also can't have a lot of stuff that has preservatives in it.

I used to be able to eat anything but when I got up to 250lbs and decided to eat a healthy lifestyle, my body changed and rejected all fried foods.

Heck - I can't even have regular pizza as the sauce kills me.
