Here's my look at the new Fans Toys FT-03T Quakewave reissue in toy darker colours. I think the MP-29 Shockwave looks better, but it's doubtful Takara can beat FT in terms of build quality. This thing looks and feels great!

Here's my review of the new Hot Toys First Order Stormtrooper Squad Leader. I hate the rubber undersuit that not only restricts the articulation a lot, but runs the risk of ultimately cracking and degrading over time! I would've preferred a fabric undersuit for sure!

Here's my review of the TIE Pilot. Overall, I think this is a fantastic figure! I think the helmet is pretty nice, although I'm not one to be so picky on whether it's totally screen accurate. In hand, it looks as I remember it from the movie so that's all I'm going by. The eyes could have been better if they had made them slightly transluscent, but it seems they are just painted the same glossy black as the rest of the helmet.

The suit tailoring is awesome, and fits the underlying body well. The thin waist was surprisingly a non-issue for me in hand. I complained about it previously and from looking at previous photos, but in hand it's not very noticeable. The belt length is tailored to fit the waist pretty much perfectly with very little room to move to make it wider.

The underlying body for me is one of the better ones from Sideshow in my collection. All joints move quite nicely, although the shoulders do feel a little loose when swinging out to the sides. But other than that it all seems good. The legs seem to be on a ratchet when swinging out to the sides, which I think it different to other bodies I've had where it's mostly friction joints from memory.

Either way, I think this figure is proof positive that Sideshow should stop making human figures/head sculpts, and just focus on helmeted/armoured/masked figures! I really like this figure a lot, and it looks great next to all the other Star Wars figures. It's quality for me is every bit as awesome as Hot Toys. I just wish Sideshow could make me feel the same about their human sculpts and facial paint applications!

Anyway, here's my full video review with all my thoughts stepping through the figure. Hope you can all check it out and subscribe if you like the review :)

Here's my review of the new Bandai Tamashii Nations Ronin Boba Fett! The detailing, paint application, and just overall style of this figure is just outstanding! Definitely the best one they've done to date. Can't wait for next year's Royal Guard and Sandtrooper! Hope you can check out the review :)

Here's my look at the new Sentinel Tatsunoko Heroes Fighting Gear Gatchaman G-2 figure (aka Jason from Battle of the Planets). Absolutely love these figures!!

Here's my look at the new Hot Toys Luke Skywalker figure. As an overall package, it totally puts to shame the recent Sideshow Pilot Luke in terms of value for money! Comes with an awesome array of accessories.

But I still think the head sculpt is not as accurate as it could have been, and isn't even as good as the picture on the box art! But I do a comparison with the Sideshow Pilot Luke head sculpt too.

Hopefully you can check it out :)

Well it's the first day of the new year, so it was definitely time for me to put up a collection update video. I missed the Q2 and Q3 collection updates that I normally do, so here's the 2015 End of Year collection summary.

Definitely a big year in terms of 1/6th scale, Transformers Masterpiece, and some awesome 6" scale figures too!

Should be another big year in 2016, but will definitely be a bit more selective in what I buy and keep from now on! Hope you can check it out, and happy collecting in 2016 and beyond!

Great collection video! I really love those Samurai SW figures. I subscribed to your channel and am looking forward to seeing how the lighting display turns out. Happy New Year.

Wow, thanks so much for checking out the video and subscribing! Will try to get part two of the lighting video up soon.

Here's my comparison video of the new Hot Toys Darth Vader and the previous Sideshow Darth Vader Deluxe. There are design elements I prefer on both figures, but overall I do feel the Hot Toys version is a better figure.

Finally got the Inflames Toys x Newsoul Toys Sha Wujing from Journey to the West!! I thought the previous Sun Wukong was incredible, but this new one takes the level up a notch! The craftsmanship, tailoring, paint application, and attention to detail is simply second to none!

Opening this I had the feeling I used to have opening Hot Toys' DX figures! I am glad that there are still niche toy companies out there willing to make incredible figures like this at a price point well below Hot Toys/Sideshow even though the quality meets, if not exceeds them!! Highly recommended for fans of Chinese mythology!

Here's my review of the incredible Inflames Toys x Newsoul Toys 1/6th scale Sha Wujing from the Journey to the West. Beautiful packaging, a fantastic array of accessories, and top notch build quality and tailoring rivaling anything from Hot Toys and Sideshow!

I love that there are still niche toy makers out there who still put so much effort into their releases!
