Ok after weeks of messing around and gathering parts, and dare isay asking a million and one questions (thanks for the help calvarenga !!!!) ive finaly gota jason part 2 fig. i bought the sideshow fig and wasnt happy with it, and after seeing calvarengas it gave me a perfect reason to have a go at blinging my jason aha.

here he is, not so good pics, ill try to get better. anyway:

i used a hot toys body and feet and swaped over the sideshow jason head and hands which 2me, makes a massive difference. he looks alot better when posed.

the fun part for me was the painting and weathering. after dressing the fig and adding the sack, i always hated the way the sack fit and looked on the sideshow fig, and in the movie stils i have, the sack isnt so square so i went for a more rounded look. it was easier then i thought, i jst mainly soaked the sack on the head and then pulled it down and shaped it, tied the rope around the neck then soaked with water and shaped again. at same time i soaked the whole outfit and jst generly messed around and tried to make it fit and look abit better. after which i left him to dry.

once dry i wasnt too happy with the colour of the overalls and the sack. they looked too clean to me. i liked to have him look like he had been running thru the forrest after the horny campers lol. so i mixed up some brown and black paint and gave the overalls a rub and paint in certain areas, not all over. i made it look darker near the pockets, the straps and the bottom of the legs. i then added afew marks to the shirt to make that look alittle dirtier.

for the sack, i wanted it to be darker and filthier but not too dark, the sideshow sack was too clean for my liking. i used the same paint as the overalls but added more water and alittle white so it wasnt as dark. and witha small paint brush jst brushed in parts and used water to blend and spread it over the material. i made it look alittle darker around the eyehole and around the edges of the sack. the sack shaped perfectly after soaking it and now after adding the paint, its dryed nice and isnt as loose on the head.

once dryed i added so red paint for a dry blood look to the overalls. asplash or 2 on the leg and shirt. then i used some watered down red and brushed it onto the hands.

i did the same to the pick ax, i repainted the bloodied end, adding more red to make it bloodier, then added blood marks to the handle where jason has held it.

overall, other than my joker prison fig, its the most work ive done myself. so prob my fave figure. hope u guys like him. a simple figure but jst alittle messing around has suprised me to how much better a fig can be made to look.

anyway enough of my rant check the pics and see whatu think. thanks again to calvarenga !

Wow. Yeah, that's awesome. I like the sack and the blood on the hands looks great. Spooky. I'm gonna have to redo mine now. Are those HT boots (not sure if you meant you switched out the feet or the boots)?

thanks charles! always great to knw afew others like a piece other than myself ya know! as for the feet, yes i used hot toys feet but the boots are from the sat toys prison uniform. i bought the boots on their own off ebay for like $2.00. they look alot better than the lame sideshow ones that where on jason.

Awesome Tea! That looks a whole lot better than the SS original. I now look at mine with dissapointment. The sack looks awesome!!

thanks vito!! appreciate it mate! yeah i love how the sack turned out, ALOT better than what it was originaly. i looks much better in person, the pics i took dont do the figure justice,.

but yeah the sack looks right now.

id love to make a stand for it like seb (elvis1976) does, like with some grass, etc.

Awesome, just awesome. Great job on your custom, I think it looks better than mine's and more "scarier" too.

Nice Job!!!

So you just dunked him in water, body and everything, before painting and weathering?

thanks mate!! i gota say credit goes to u tho bro for giving me the inspirtation to do this!! i wasnt impressed with the part 2 fig so resisted buying it, but after seeing yours and what could be done to it i bought it,..so thanks bro!

glad u like it! and yeah iwanted to add more dirt and blood as the original ss didnt have much at all, so wanted him to look more rough like he had been running thru the woods etc.

hey charles, yeah u can dunk him in water, however i found it more easier to actualy spray the figure with like an empty spray can full of water while he was stood up, that way, i could mould and shape the clothing to make it look and fit better. same went for the hood, i sprayed alot of water on the sack so it was soaked, then moulded it and left to dry.
