Playing this today and am enjoying it....final product looks nicer than demo - playing on Hard mode - not as intense as I would like yet, but I am right out of the opening dungeon, so hard to say if it increases quickly or not

I'm pleasantly surprised and really enjoying it so far. The combat is a lot of fun and I like how open the game world is. It won't win any awards for graphics, but it's easy on the eyes with nice designs ad bright colors. Im really liking the music too. It borrows heavily from almost every decent rpg, but that's a positive thing IMO. So far, so good!:yess:

Think I should probably finish Skyrim before diving into this, or I might never finish the first one. But definetly not passing this one if its as good as the reviews collectively suggest.

I won't be picking this up until this weekend. Looking forward to trying it out Friday.

I really wanna get the game, but just can't justify buying it with the backlog of games that I currently got. I'll probably get it some time during the vacant gaming wastland of summer.

Playing on 'hard' mode, and I am finding it way too easy. I am a veteran of games like Demon/Dark Souls, so I knew this wouldn't be like those, but damn! I have yet to die once, so to me, its too easy at about 3 hours in -

I just finished my backlog. But I'm only playing this until ME3 is out. Then it will be taking a back seat for awhile.

I just finished Saints Row The Third and am starting on mine. I currently own more games that I have not played than I have finished. Hopefully, I put a dent in it before ME3 and RE:Operation Raccoon City come out since they'll be taking up all of my free time.

Finished saints row third and decided to buy this today. It will keep me entertained till mass effect 3!!

Played a bit of the tutorial and I like what I have seen so far.

Only complaint at the moment is that you can't really customize your characters appearance fully. You just have 5 presets for the face and the males all look pretty brutish and fugly. The females on the other hand look slightly better. I guess I'm a little spoilt having jumped straight in from saints row third.

I think I'll just give my male warrior a huge beard and tattoos to cover up his face.

Just reviving the thread. This game is so much fun. I don't even normally play games like this. Dragon Age, Fable...They bore me to tears most of the time, but this game is a blast that only gets more fun as you go. Structurally, it's very similar to Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age, but the gameplay is so much more satisfying. I've built an awesome mage and it's just too much fun. If you're on the fence and have any interest in this kind of game, I can't recommend it enough.

Update: Played for a little bit last night. I have been dumping all my points into melee and I am cutting through enemies like butter and feeling a little overpowered. I am playing on normal difficulty and it is a bit of a stroll in the park which I do not mind. Might try spreading out my skill points to learn a bit more magic which looks interesting and hopefully it wont feel so unbalanced.

So far this game feels like a more streamlined rpg experience because you don't really need to do rpg number/stats crunching every time you level up (e.g. Strength, dexterity, constitution etc). You simply dump all your experience points in the skills you wish to invest in and then you are all set to jump straight back into the action.

Me like!

Yeah, theres been a lot of comments about the games difficulty. It's not a hard game to be sure. Like you said, it's not much trouble t build a powerful class that dominates. I'm not a difficulty junkie, so I don't mind. I just love the combat and building a character that can do so much in a fight. I went the magic route and I'm having a blast.

Well I was going to pick up the game at Best Buy yesterday because I have a Reward Zone certificate worth $100 but they were all out of the game for the 360.

I see Amazon's selling it for $45 right now so I think I'll just wait until I can get it for around $30. I have more than enough games to play right now anyway.
