BuDDah - thks for the concern, I'm glad u were able to work something out.

Hopefully I can achieve the same type of success you had.

I think I mentioned this b4, but as a heads up he posted a thread at the pinoy forums trading my Medicom MGS4 Olive Drab Snake in exchange for an Enterbay Jack Baur.

Do help to warn anybody that may do a trade for a Olive Drab Snake (Although chances are its unlikely, who the hell wants to trade an ETB Jack Baur for an inferior figure like the Olive Drab Snake????)

I still think his personal information should be reposted for all to see. He can change board names on other sites or lay low for a while but if someone else trys to do a deal with the he/she and sees similar if not the same personal info (name, address) they'll know and can report. When someone commits a crime they lose the right to have personal information, the public knows about, and rightfully so. Hell you can go online and look up registered sex offenders names, where they live, what they do etc. The personal info is there to help protect. It needs to be broadcast loud and clear for all to see. The he/she doesn't deserve protection or privacy in this community.

My opinion too. If someone scams they loose the privilege of private info. But if Dave feels its better to protect everyone's private info I support him in that since it is his board.

Jun has the info and he can do with it what he will though. :)

I've benefited personally from that info being available at another board I'm a member at. There was a thread stickied at the top of peoples dealings with scammers. All known information including personal info was posted from anyone who was a confirmed scam artist and you could check it before dealing with someone who wasn't as known on the boards. I was dealing with someone and they had changed their board name but the shipping address and real name matched up to someone in the scammer thread so I was able to avoid getting ripped off. A lot of times these scammers will change up board names even their supposed real names, but most of the time where they want stuff shipped to is the same or around the same area. It's a good way to send up a red flag.

I think thats a great idea.

PM Dave and relate to him your experience with it (perhaps send him a link to check out).

From a liability standpoint I don't think it's wise to incite violence against someone and then publish their contact info.

But I do think having their real name will help other boards -
This is granado.espada's name:Riccar Samonte

Riccar Samonte.

Thanks Dave.

I don't think whenever anyone says they are going to get a posse and drive to point "x" to teach someone a lesson they really mean it. Its always just talk to let off steam.

I, on the other hand, really do know a person in law enforcement in the Philippines (a retired General no less) and he is going to see what he can do. Heck, the guys last name is the same as my brother in law. He might be family. :lol

Great stuff. I have to say, this should be a cop's dream. Cops LOVE white-collar crime because it means they get to arrest someone with very little risk of being shot. If you've got this guy's name and address - you even have a video of his home - then give it to the local cops and tell them that if they want to arrest someone who has stolen a thousand dollars worth of property, yet is almost certainly a nerd who represents no risk of injury to them, well, I imagine they'll arrest him asap.

Given the way that things "work" in the Philippines, particularily through military (or police) invovment in matters concerning family/friends - I think granado is really up ^^^^ creek with this one. If he has any sense at this stage, and is aware of what steps are in motion, he should seriously be thinking about returning those items before he loses more than what he has taken.

wise words. Lets hope he reads them . :lecture

Believe me I would love to start cursing & using whatever available expletives at him. But then what good will it do? Most likely it will just make him feel even better and I'm not going to let him have the pleasure of doing that.

What I want to do now is to make him black listed in his own local toy community, so that he will never be able to trade stuffs & cheat his own fellow country men with stolen goods.

He posted a similiar Jack Sparrow sale thread at the pinoy forums too, obviously he was trying to scam them as well.

You are a very Patient person and that is very positive,i really hope this guy gets whats coming to him.

Me myself are very patient but have BIG problems being patient with scammers,i really cant stand them, they are the worst kind i know of and cant help my temper when i hear about these things.

Like Rambo says "War is in your blood, dont fight it" so why bother trying to be patient:lol

A wise man once said...
"Instant Karma's gonna get you
Gonna look you right in the face
Better get yourself together darlin'
Join the human race"

He'll get what's coming to him.

Ironically, John said in an interview not long before he died "What does it mean when you are such a pacifist you get shot?". He knew he had crappy karma and believed people who preached pacifism were trying to make up for bad things they did. But he knew karma always wins out in the end.

to the original poster, post all the links like the one I posted in the 1st post so it is not all over the place.
