WOW! I wasn't expecting any good merchandise from this movie. I definitely want one! What is the material?

Not really a fan of the look they gave the Hulk for the movie. Otherwise the statue looks pretty good.

I don't collect Marvel movie stuff though, so I've been waiting (anxiously) to see what Koto's comic book based Fine Arts statues are going to look like. Surely they'll reveal something at SDCC.

If it's anything like the IM, and it stays consistent with their Marvel lineup, this will be made of cold cast porcelain. Not vinyl like a lot of their earlier statues and other lines. Thus the heftier price tag.

Need to see the movie to then determine how accurate this is. 14" is a little small considering he's lifting whatever he's lifting.

It might be a little small, but you have to take into consideration that the Hulk is practically on his knees in the piece. Definate buy IMO, especially with the strong possibility of an interlocking Abomination (though I would prefer a more classic Creature from the Black.....i mean Abomination :D ).

At the Koto panel at Wizard LA, they said these were 1/6th scale, so 14" does seem small.

So the total dork that I am, if 1/6th scale is ~12in for a 6 ft character, and you take into consideration the movie hulk is supposed to be 9 ft, that would make the figure approximately 18in. However, I measured my leg upto the knee to be ~2ft and I am 6ft tall. So assume 1/3rd of the body is lower leg which makes the height equal to 2/3rds of the hulks body (a little more) which is actually about 6ft. SO, it would be ~12in and add 2 inches for whatever he is holding.

Sorry I was just curious. So it might be slightly small, but I figure its fairly on the money.

There are also a few more pictures on the linked page.

I saw the movie and I have to say that the likeness is really good on this. In spite of my feelings about the movie, I still want this one.
