I always liked the sculpt. I only think the paint job is gonna suck. Koto has really simple and sloppy paints for all the pieces I've owned. That's the only thing holding them back from being awesome. The would look great with bowen paints or ssc.

SSC's paint jobs are very hit or miss. BD's paint apps are nothing short of amazing. It blows my mind how consistently good Bowen's paints are on their production pieces. Whenever I order a BD piece, I just about never worry about paint apps. I do agree with you about Koto's paint apps though. They are inferior to both BD and SSC. It's a shame because they release some great statues. Sosa's work for Koto in particular is fantastic and deserves better paint apps than Koto's factories are supplying.

This was one of my first statues. It was amazing but ultimately I decided to sell it to make room for PFs when I got into that. It was very well painted and an amazing sculpt. Couldn't say that for other Koto pieces which had abysmal paint jobs. Sosa is an amazing talent. He is working on the XM Antman which is very cool.

I didn't know Sosa was doing work for XM. Now that's a deadly combo for my wallet. I absolutely ADORE Sosa's work. I'm not a big Antman fan but if Sosa ever does a Hulk, Cap, Thor, Spidey, or Byrne era X-MEN...XM will be getting some $$$ from me. Damn, could you imagine Sosa/Koto's Spidey unleashed statue done for XM in 1/4 scale? I don't think my brain could handle all that greatness.

I don't want another spidey. My comiquette fulfills this for me. I do love Sosa's work though. Fully sculpted and very detailed. Maybe a Sosa Black Cat? I don't feel like paying second market rates for the Black cat PF and kinda got turned off by how they handled her fabric.

I hear you. I'm all set in the Spidey dept myself. I have the COM and the Koto Spidey. I know XM is doing Magneto on a throne but I'd love to see Sosa handle a Mags statue for XM. IMO, nothing will EVER top Erick's Magneto sculpt for Koto. It is the finest Magneto statue I have ever laid eyes on and is an EPIC statue. It is the standard I'll be measuring all future Magneto statues against. Either way, if Sosa has been added to XM's stable of talent, they now have my complete attention.

Sosa's Magneto is very cool. I don't know if Sosa will collaborate often with XM or if this is a one time thing. We will see I guess.

Looks fantastic. I like Kotobukiya a lot. They just don't come out with these often enough. Juggernaut looks equally as good. I'm positively getting one of these

I'll definetly be picking this one up. Koto Spidey and original Wolverine are my statue grails but too expensive now, especially being so small. I won't miss this one though.

This piece can easily represent Wolvie in your collection. However, IMO the Koto Spidey and Magneto are the BEST pieces in the entire Marvel Koto line. I honestly can't see them ever being topped. I'm a HUGE Sosa fan and it seems like he can do no wrong with his Koto pieces. They all look pretty incredible. I hope you are able to score the Koto Spidey someday. No Spidey fan should have to be without one in their collection.
