Kotobukiya Fine Art line (Avengers 1/10 Art Fx - Pg 38)

Forgive my ignorance but are Koto stuff made of rubber/plastic? I've been a big GG collector for over years but wanted to get into the Marvel pieces but GG have made it impossible as they won't ship to the UK.

How have collectors found collecting Kotos different to the polystone statues offered by SS or GG? Do they display well?

I'm thinking of picking up the new 1/4 mini Avengers statue line.

The new Avengers line is 1/10.

The Fine Art line (Correct me if I'm wrong) are polystone. The Artfx lines are a dense plastic. That works great. The Justice League line has magnets that attach to the base which also works great.

Quite a let down after Hulk. If the rest resemble Widow instead of Hulk I may save some money. Said looking for silver lining.

Hulk proto looks amazing for this line. BW looks similar to the DC new 52 which after seeing in person I was very unimpressed. Wouldn't get them for 50-60 a piece, they look more like $20-$30 quality wise. Hulk I would throw down $60 for though. I'm not a fan of the shiny look. It may work for BW and Iron Man because of their uniforms but I hope Cap, hawkeye and Thor have a more matte look like hulk.

Koto's Fine Art line has been awesome recently. Spiderman and Venom came out awesome. I have Classic Hulk on pre order right now. Koto is also very competitively priced right now (hopefully it stays that way). I got Venom for $165 and he's just as good if not better than some of my Bowen's that cost $200+

I think this Black Widow looks great and does look very close to Adi Gravnov artwork, i think they have captured it realy well.

I just hope we don't have too long a wait before they start on Guardians Of The Galaxy i would love to see that team tackled in 1/10 scale.

I would also expect to see the Fantastic Four would be great if Koto used Steve Mcniven's designs.

Meh, I like everything but the upper torso and head. Starting to think Hulk is the only one to get in this line

I have the Superman and will definitely get Cap to go with him. Should compliment each other pretty well. Or at least, until a better Cap MN! figure is released.

Just pre-ordered the Hulk state at Amazon for 65 dollars with free shipping. Can't beat that. I really liked the Iron Man, thor and Captain America statues, but I hated Hawkeye, he looks like Duke Nukem

I think the paint apps killed Black Widow. Thor looks pretty good. Can't really go wrong with Iron Man, considering it's mostly solid colors. I'm down for an Iron Man and Hulk when they release.

I wish these had all the switch-out parts of the Star Wars line. It would be nice to have the option of unmasked heads and, in Thor's case, arms without the chainmail.

I really hope that Joss Whedon adopts the Marvel NOW look for Cap in Avengers 2. He really needs that chin strap and extra padding.

Didn't really see anyone put anything out there yet but I got my Koto ARTFX+ today from BBTS. I'm pretty happy with it. It's not very big but I knew that going in so no big deal there. Everything looks good to me for what I need it to be. My only gripe is that he's not real sturdy without the magnetic plates under him. I'll assume the others will be the same. The Avengers team will look good assembled together on my desk.
