I think it would be quite unfair to compare a statue with an action figure.

With this piece in my hands, I feel that it still has a long way to go in terms of quality if you compare it with Bowen statues. The paintjob, weight and the overall feel about it is lacking.

One thing is for sure, I am pretty pissed that their edition size is 7000 and they have the cheek to state it is limited edition? So if its not limited, it will be 20,000 pieces?

Anyway, I have ordered the HT figure as well and judging from past experiences, I am sure the value of the HT IM will climb higher than the Koto IM.

wow, it's so impressive, i love it in those pics

my plan is to get this for the MK3, the HT for the MK2 and MK1... and display them altogether...

I was like, man, no offence to the thread starters pics, but it made the IM statue look flat. Boring. Then I saw the other pics, and I was like, holy crap this thing is awesome! I am back to wanting it so much again!

ditto... exactly what i thought as well
but then again i cant be unthankful to the thread starter for the first pics

Geez...didnt know I made alot of ppl doubt the wonders of this piece.

I sincerely apologize for all the troubles caused...Sorry guys.

No no, they weren't that bad bud. Don't be too hard on yourself. They still made it look good, but the other guy's pics make them look better. You had awesome angled shots of it. Not the fault of you, but your camera. Time for an upgrade! But certainly keep posting pics on here!

Thanks man...but the funny thing is I bought a new 10megapixel Digicam recently. I think its due to poor lighting, nevertheless, the Iron Man is great and you guys should really get one :)

I do have one preordered at my LCS and it's too late for me to back out of it now. I wouldn't do it to the guy. Does it have some good heft, despite being smaller in size to SS pieces.

If you are referring to the weight issue, I think it is relatively light compared to Bowen pieces. As for the lighting, it turns on and off immediately depending on your switching. There is no fading effect at all.

I dont think the hot toys figure will have paint as nice as this statue.
