It wasn't a prank. At least not by the whole party. It was an intern who ****ed with his co-workers.

Reminds me of that Chinese pilot who was killed after his jet collided with a US plane a few years back. Initial reports in local papers changed his name from Wang Wei to Wong Wei.

Um yeah, a prank. And a dumb immature one at that.

I meant it wasn't a prank by the news team. Only one idiot. That's all.

EDIT: https://blog.sfgate.com/matierandross/2013/07/12/1937/

However, in a subsequent phone interview with the SFGate’s Jeff Elder, NTSB spokeswoman Kelly Nantel made clear that the names “originated at the media outlet” and that the intern — unaware of the offensive names — was “acting in good faith and trying to be helpful” by confirming names he didn’t know.

Bull****. :lol

I see those insulting names and many more all the time being Chinese. Never in my life would I believe that a news station would actually say some of those on air. Classic!!! I had a good laugh. :lol :lol :lol
