Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

Killer work Kuato.

Just curious do you use an airbrush? And your skin tones always seem to have a sandy like texture to them with no brush marks, is that just my eyes playing tricks on me or is this some kind of technique you use?

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

very nice Kuato... Paint jobs are always with sharp finishes + excellent macro pics & bright lighting = nothing to hide! Very good brush work ;) I like I like~

Keep up da good work!

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

Thank you guys very much. Jack, i wish i had your presentation skills my friend.

Ahh, yes both of you are right, I can always answer questions in pms or on the thread when asked. I plan on doing a tutorial on painting 1/6 heads and putting it on my thread. As you said Wofford, i myself was inspired by one who was kind enough to share with the community, and look where it got me once I put my own little tricks in it.

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

Quick question here for Kuato or anyone else that might have the answer..... What do you use/what's best to use to remove/strip the paint of any exisitng sculpts? Thank You

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

I use Acetone and wipe off the paint gradually. I'm sure there are others but I've had great results with acetone.

Hey Chris are you going to post the painted joker heads in your thread or in C.Howes thread? :D:D

Re: Kuato's Paintwork and Customs

Here you go Jose, here is a quick photoshoot with my new photography skills thanks to Mr. Howes :). This Joker is Bwayne's messy Joker.

You warned me, but I followed the link... and now I can hardly wait for mine! You've made amazing progress since your first practice heads.
